“Great vacation in Hilton Head !!”

The nice people gave us an upgrade to Shorewood, it was clean and very nice. The location was amazing and we loved the pool and hot tub. We had such a great time, the villa was very spacious and had everything we needed from a washer and dryer to the beautiful view. Thank you and we will book with you again! “Great place!”

We enjoyed being right across from all of the shops and right next to the Tiki Hut bar on the beach. There was food and nightlife within walking distance. We loved it!

I usually don't make remarks on surveys like this as it quite often gives an inaccurate depiction of the product or in this case a rental property. I will however share my vacation experience with you and I will be as brief as possible. Having some difficulty finding where to check-in (look on location page for directions to office) I was greeted by a friendly front desk staff where I was checked into a 3rd floor unit at the Breakers. Check-in was fast and easy so I was quite pleased. However when I got there I discovered that there were no elevators and there were too many stairs for my wife to climb. So I called the office to see if they had another villa on a lower floor. Someone came over and showed us 1st and 2nd floor unit. We took the 1st as it is elevated enough for perfect view of ocean. Approx. 10ft from ground...parking is underneath. We saw 3 different villas, all had different interior decor (I understand that each is privately owned so each is decorated according to owners taste). Villas are small but very cozy. Much more comfortable than a hotel. Every villa we saw was very clean and was nicely furnished...the one we selected was especially attractive and had everything we needed. The villa had the best oceanfront view than any property that I have every stayed in. The beach was beautiful and everything is located in the area... restaurants, shops and many activities were within walking distance.

“Great Location, Even Better View”

This is our 5th stay at the Breakers. We enjoy the location very much. Within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and many activities. Villas are small but comfortable and we get great service. The most enjoyable highlight of our vacations have been the incredible oceanfront views from the private balcony that look over a large white sandy beach. These villas are great for couples but may be a little too small for families of 4 or more.

Great Location! Nothing fancy. Great view. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants and grocery store. I would stay there again.

“Fine overall”

This property is a group of "villas," one bedroom apartments with a small kitchen. The living room and dining room are in the same space, and you "enter" through the bedroom (a little odd, but okay), pass by the bathroom, and then you are in the combo kitchen, LR, DR. The balcony is nice. All appliances worked fine; the refrigerator is roomy. The location is perfect--right on the beach and right across the road (easy walking even for an elderly person) from shops and several good restaurants, plus a well stocked grocery store. The property management honored our special request (non smoking, lowest floor), no problem. Downsides: This is a no frills kind of place. Everything was clean, but it's "worn" in certain areas--roughed up walls, flimsy mattresses, worn sheets that don't fit. The pool is tiny--more than 8 people and no room left. For a couple with one or two kids, it's fine. For more than 2 adults, it gets kind of crowded. My advice: If you want a great location and a property that rents for less than a week, this is a good choice--the flaws do not outweigh the great location and convenience of the nearby facilities.

“Good location, excellent view”

Good location, excellent view. We arrived early and was given a room that was ready. It did not have the queen size foldout that was listed for our room but we made do. It had two small bunk beds in the hall that would be perfect for children. It was a corner room and the view was great. This is an excellent location for beach, dining and shopping. The condo could use a few improvements but was very clean. The pool was warm and the beach access very convenient.

“Not a hotel but a condominium”

Location, location, location. The location of is excellent -- right on the beach and across the street from an attractive shopping center (everything on Hilton Head is done in good taste, so having the shopping center a block away was a real plus and did not detract from the beauty of the place). Beach access was almost immediate, and the beach was great -- flat and sandy, although at high tide, most of the beach disappeared -- but I was there when there was a tropical storm in the area and the sea was probably unusually high. The pool was tiny, with half roped off for those who can't swim, and the second pool was a wading pool. The condo I stayed in was small (the bedroom had room for just a bed and a dresser), as was the living room/kitchen, but the view was great. I had a balcony with an ocean view through palms and some other trees. There's no elevator, but I was on the first floor (in reality the second floor, because the property is built with room for storm surge underneath. Parking was right there, and it was quiet, on the whole. There's a hotel very close to this property with a tiki hut, and you can rent a beach chair and umbrella by the day or week.

“The Breaker's Condo”

Our one bedroom unit was well furnished and very clean. We had an oeanfront view which was great. It was a short walk to the pool and beach. We were steps away from the Beach Market and great dining. We will definitely return to HHI soon!!!
