Beautiful,clean hotel on the beach

Awesome hotel. Loved that there was plenty of sun and shade. One pool is covered which is great to get out of sun or rain. Super comfy lounge chairs. Very clean. Great food and drinks. Beautiful beach. Only gripe after spending so much to stay was annoyed lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach had to be rented.

Everywhere you look, there is beauty to behold!

Pros: The main pool, distance to the ocean, and the bathroom
Cons: The size of the room should be bigger for what you're paying.
The pools are outstanding! You are right on the ocean and no one else is there except resort guests. Splash, the bar, had yummy food by the pool. Our room wasn't ready at check-in. That was the only negative aspect of this visit. The bathroom was beautiful!

Nice hotel close to the beach

Pros: The location was convenient and the pools are nice.
Cons: I had minimal contact with the hotel employees, but there were two whose manners bordered on rudeness.
Location: Shopping is always great with two good outlet malls close by. There's also Harbor Town if you want to fight the crowds.
The food is good and the servers are nice and helpful. My room was comfortable and clean. I was greeted at check-in and the employee when I checked out was very helpful.

Felt like a "King"

My stay was short and wish i had more time to enjoy all the comforts i had encountered.I arrived late at 2:00am and the woman behind the check in was so kind and professional.My room was outstanding from the cleaniness to the oceanview room i had.The hotel staff from when i first came and when i had left i could not had any better service and respect.I do plan to return for a longer stay and enjoy all the services the hotel has to offer.

Nice hotel right on the beach. Very family friend

Pros: The pools were great and the poolside service was awesome!
Location: Golf and biking everywhere, but we just enjoyed having a beach right outside of our hotel.
This hotel was very family friendly although we were there just a couple, but it appeals to both. Some negatives - we asked for a view and we got an angled view of woods. We expected for the extra money we would see the ocean. We were told that we had to ask specifically for an ocean or pool view when we questioned this at the front desk. Wish we had known that before we paid the extra money. Also, they do provide chairs and umbrella on the beach for an additional charge. Be sure you get them before you actually go on the beach. We were told at the front desk that we could get them on the beach - which we did but for a lot more than the $20 quoted at the front desk. The ones we got on the beach was a company operating the beach. The staff at the front desk should have made this clearer and as we were already on the beach we went the easier but more expensive way. If you are staying for a longer stay then go to the Walmart down the street and buy your own!

Due to the configuration of our resort, we do have many room types and views available to our guests, and specific information is disclosed through our website or in the reservation process so guests can make the ir choice on the best option. I am sorry we were not able to provide a complimentary upgrade for an ocean or pool view room. The Town of Hilton Head Island contracts with a vendor to provide all beach services on Hilton Head Island, and we cannot provide this service on the beach. However, we do have a reasonable rental option for guests at the resort, and I am sorry if there was any confusion as our staff should have provided detailed information. Beautiful resort by the beach.

It was our first time in HHI and it was perfect timing, the week before memorial weekend. The resort was not busy and so as the island. I don't know how it is when it's their peak season. Nice hotel and staff were hospitable. We were upgraded to a room with the ocean view but the downside was that we had an extended balcony with kids above us throwing stuffs down below while we were having some snacks and enjoying the view. It happened the day before we checked out so we did not bother to ask for another room. I just mentioned it to the front desk so they can take notes. If you end up with a room like this request for another room. Nevertheless it was a relaxing vacation and I will definitely recommend this place.

Great Mother's Day Weekend

I did have one hiccup with the Oceans' Restaurant waiter. It was mentioned to him that I had a food allergy. When my food came with the allergen he did not apologize at all. He actually ignored me from that point. It wasn't until I presented to him that he ignored me with no apology that he apologized and took the food item off my bill. Perhaps a new waiter. Not a good server. However, ending on a good overall note, the hotel, amenities and guess relations were superb!

Hotel on a great location Golf Courses arround. Fantastic Pool Area. Best Breakfast,. Very friendly Personal. We spent only one night,. Next time we would like a room without a 2 Minute walk to the elevator.

Great hotel!

I travel to HHI often and stay at different places on the beach. This time I tried the Westin and hands down it was the best! Staff was amazing, food was spectacular and the hotel was extremely clean. The smell when you walk is clean, invigorating and inviting. We were upgraded to ocean view without requesting since it was Mothers Day weekend (I think was the reason). That was a pleasant surprise. I will recommend it to all my family and friends.
