“One of the best in Jesup”

Jesup, GA is a small town. Days Inn is considered one of the top hotels in this area. We stayed here for the first time. Enjoyed it so much that we booked another stay for our return in a few weeks. PROS: Clean. Decent Carbs only breakfast. Lots of breads and cereals. Nice towels. Fairly good wireless Internet. Plenty of parking. Plenty of food choices nearby. Next to HWYS 301, 341, 25, & 84. Very quiet. CONS: Fitness center is open limited hours and is a joke. Had to ask for coffee and soap for in room. Housekeeping must of missed that. False advertising for breakfast cereal. What I mean is times are tight and even though some hotels have cereal dispensers that say Kellogg’s cereal. Some replace the name brand food with generic cereal. This hotel was very brazen about it because they left the empty bags of store brand cereal in the trash. Right next to the Kellogg’s brand cereal dispensers. If you want 5 star quality, stay 70 miles away in Savannah, GA or Jacksonville, FL. Otherwise, overall a decent place to stay. And we will be back soon.

“Yuck”

When I arrived at 1 am the night clerk couldn't find my reservation, and started to turn me away. I should have left. After about 15 minutes she found it, and I got checked in. The walls of my room were splattered with , well, something. There were sticky spots on the carpet, so I had to wear sandals the whole time I was there. Every time I shut off the air conditioner water ran out on the floor, which presumably is what gave the room it's musty smell. If the pre-paid room were not non-refundable, I would have checked out before I went to bed on my first night and found another place to stay. The only good thing about it was that it is only a few miles from where I had to be for my business in Jesup. I have stayed at other hotels in Jesup and been similarly disappointed. If you have business in Jesup, stay in Brunswick and drive in.

“Impressed”

upon arrival, the room assignment was not satisfactory and I explained my reasoning, and the staff did not hesitate to make another room assignment to my satisfaction. I would recommend this to anyone. The room was spacious and clean. I did not know what I was going to find when I got to the Motel because a previous review said the smell was horrible, but that was dated in 2010 and we did not experience anything negative in our stay.Also someone said there was a language barrier, I had no problem understanding and I would say they probably had more problem understanding my Tennessean talk.

“Will not stay there again.”

It was ok, not the best stay at a hotel. They were doing renovation on the outside of the hotel. Parking was very limited and if you came in after 11 pm instead of going through the lobby were people can see you you had to use a side door where there was no one to see if anyone happen. Staff was not the best. They came barging in to clean at 9 am. And when asked about an extra key, because they only gave us one, we were told it was ok we only needed one. I was not impressed at all and neither were my parents who were also staying there.

“Pride of Jesup”

I needed a motel room for one night. I booked it here because it was a good price. Everything was fine. What more can you say about spending a night in a motel room in Jesup, GA?
