“OK if you need a place to sleep.”

The Chisun Hiroshima was conveniently located right in front of a tram stop. The was also a Lawson's convenient store right next door where you could get many things that you might need. The hotel itself was fairly clean and had a coin-op laundry on the 3rd floor, which was nice. We visited at the beginning of April, and at this time of year the Air could only be set to "heating" or "fan". The "cooling" option was not available. So our only choice to make the room a bearable temperature was to open the window, which got noisy at times. The room is really only OK if you just need a place to sleep and don't have a lot of luggage. Japan is famous for small hotel rooms, but this was by far the tiniest double room I've ever seen. If you came with any large suitcases you'd literally have no floor space for them. It was, however, very inexpensive for a double room in Japan. So if you travel light and just need a place to sleep, and plan to spend most of your time outside seeing the city, then go for it.

“Good but not great”

Good location, though you need a little confidence and a good map to get there. Comfortable enough place to stay, service is good but dining price is too high. Door key turns on all lights and heater, which means the room gets cold when you're not in it. Easy to work around, but a small hassle. Easy walk or streetcar to nearly anything you want to see in Hiroshima, and some things you wouldn't expect.

“Great price, location, and service!”

I arrived 3 hours early but the staff there was friendly and helped me by checking in my baggage so I could explore the city till check in. When I got back my bags were waiting for me in my room. The location is excellent you can cross the street to take in the local nightlife and restaurants and the local transport train stops right in front of the hotel making travel around town and to Hiroshima station convenient. The single room is small compared to US standards but your not staying in your hotel when you’re in Japan right? You’re here to get out and explore. So the rooms are just right for a good night sleep with all the amenities. The price is a barging so you save money so you can spend it else ware. I highly recommended the Chisun Hotel and will stay here again when I travel to Hiroshima.

“Chisun Hotel Close to the Heart of Hiroshima”

While the room was small, no very small we managed to stay there quite happily and comfortably for three nights. Not a great view from the window but we treat hotels as a place to rest and sleep so this is not a high priority for us. The hotel is well located not to far from tand it is a short walk o Peace Park and the train station. We could have caught the tram but it is such a pleasant city we walked as much as we could. The Chisun is a very affordable hotel and like many hotels in Japan it is very well run, spotlessly clean and well managed. If you do not travel light and have large suitcases do not get a semi double. You will have trouble with space in the room. Excellent hotel in a very friendly city for foreigners. We would certainly stay there again if we are lucky enough to come back to Hiroshima.
