Good Hotel for the PricePosted Jan 10, 2014
We stayed in Hiroshima for one night, long enough to do the bomb dome, museum, castle and miyajima island. There is a tram stop directly out the front which is great but this is not covered by the JR pass. It is still simple to use and only a couple of dollars to use. There is a convenience store next door which was great. The room was an ok size for two people.

Convenient locationPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness and the location.
Cons: If they can allow clock-in at 2.00 pm instead of 3 p.m.
Location: The Hiroshima Bombing site, the Memorial and the Castle are all in the walking distance between 15 and 20 minutes.
This hotel is conveniently located near the main Hiroshima Station and also just opposite the tram station. It is on the main street of Hiroshima. It is moderately priced as well. I stayed in a room which was self contained and traffic noise free. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Basic but comfortablePosted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: Location to main part of Hiroshima.
Location: Peace Park about 10 mins walk from hotel Shopping area - Labi (Electronics department store), fashion shops and mall also 10 mins walk
Stayed at Chisun Hiroshima overnight. It is quite a tight room, but had the basics of a bed and shower, which is all my partner and I needed as we only used the room for showering and sleeping. It is in quite a good location being a few blocks away from the main shopping area. We initially used the streetcar to get around but realised the shops and Peace Park were only about 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Decent for the pricePosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: The bed, the location
Cons: More lenient with check-in times, larger rooms...
Location: Close to tram and bus stop. Easy to get to from Hiroshima JR station. Plenty to see around Hiroshima within walking distance.
Firstly, the hotel is situated nicely right across from a tram stop and bus stop. There's also a convenience store next door, a few local food places and a shopping centre very close by. Also only about a 20 minute walk / short tram ride to the peace park etc. We arrived at 2.45pm, with a check-in time of 3pm. First time I've ever been told to wait when arriving 15 minutes early for check-in. At first I thought it may have been due to cleaning our rooms, but then I noticed everyone checking in that day was waiting as they just don't accept check-ins until 3pm. After we waited until exactly 3pm, we were checked in and the room was nice, although a little tiny. Only just enough space to put luggage, and this resulted in not being able to access the fridge. But it had a decent sized desk and a nice sized, comfortable bed. Bathroom was your standard cheap Japanese hotel bathroom, but that's just fine. Hiroshima is a nice city that you can view in a day, so you only need to stay one night. This hotel was fine for that and at a cost about $50AUD, was a decent deal.

Got the job done.Posted Oct 7, 2013
The room was very small like most Japanese hotels but it was in a good location and the staff were friendly.
Hotel is fine, staff not so nicePosted Oct 6, 2013
Pros: Location, tidy
Cons: Staff, wifi access
Location: Peace Museum was about 10 or 15 mins easy walk, close to the local food and entertainment area.
We stayed here for just one night. The hotel is fine - typical of many others in that it is neat and tidy, well serviced. It's tiny by western standards but most are so that's just part of visiting a very populated country. Pretty vlose to everything. Our only complaint was that the staff were particularly unfriendly and unhelpful here compared to all the other hotels we stayed in. Not a deal breaker but not nice all the same. Also they don't have wifi. They have in-room Internet but it is cable only - my friend had a mac book air and the cord was too outdated for her laptop. If u do stay here I recommend getting a taxi from Hiroshima rather than bothering with the streetcar which is trickier than the subway in other towns - it was only Y700 to and from the station and the drivers knew the hotel.

Perfect for the tram, easy to get to all the tourist places & an ATM that accepted overseas cards (post office) over the road. Good hotel.
