Good for one night.

Posted May 25, 2015
The location within the train station in Hiroshima makes it a very good place for a one night stay. The lack of a room safe (the only time this happened in 7 hotels in Japan and Taiwan) was annoying as one has to carry your valuables with you. But good views from the rooms up high. The free tour bus that left every 15 minutes from outside the door was very handy. However, it is only free is you have an active JR Pass. We preferred the Hotel Washington in the heart of the city. Great room, with a safe, in the heart of the city... walk to everything or take the street cars.

Classy hotel near train station

Posted May 24, 2015
Pros: Actually connected to the train station and therefore easy to get to after a hard day of traveling, great staff
Cons: Lots of construction going on at the train station, which was a pain but should be over before long
Location: Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park, museum, and Atom Bomb Dome are must-sees. The museum is sobering, but the area is green, beautiful, and uplifting.
We stayed here three nights in April 2014. I was surprised how upscale the hotel was, given the great rate we got when I booked it online. We had a fantastic view of downtown Hiroshima from our tenth-floor window, and the bed was super comfy. There are several fancy restaurants in the hotel but we stuck with city eateries like the okonomiyaki diner near the train station. Lots of helpful pamphlets (in English!) on local things to see, bus schedules, etc., near the front desk, and the very professional staff spoke enough English that we were able to ask questions. Highly recommend.

Pros: 立地。ちょうどよいサービス。全体的な清潔感。
Cons: 特になし。
Location:

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: Grande chambre + personnel accueillant
Cons: Aucun

Great hotel right by the Hiroshima station

Posted Apr 26, 2015
I stayed one night while visiting Hiroshima. The hotel was literally 2 minutes walk from the entrance to the chinkiest bullet train, but no noise from the trains. I was with my daughter and we had a very nice twin room, much larger that I had expected, for a very reasonable price. The staff was very helpful. There is also a bar on the top floor with great view of the city. Overall, very pleasant experience.

Good hotel in excellent location

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: The location, the view from my room.
I've stayed at a couple of the JR Granvia hotels and always been impressed. The Granvia Hiroshima is a large business-style hotel. I stayed for 2 nights and had a recently renovated room on the 17th floor with a great view, and the usual range of in-room facilities. I didn't try the food on this occasion but there a number of options in the hotel itself as well as in Hiroshima station just next door. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, and the staff spoke very good English.

Clean - Great location for JR Rail Pass holders

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Position
Cons: Nothing
Location: You can get around Hiroshima on the bus right outside the hotel. You can use your JR Rail Pass for this bus pick up drop off as well.
Right next to Rail Station - friendly staff - great room.
