Room with views to the Peace Memorial Park.Posted Jul 23, 2014
We chose a economy double room for one night. The room was quite small but the double bed was very comfortable. In the room you have a TV, a fridge, air conditioning and sleepers. The bathroom was also small side but very clean and it had shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toothbrush, razor and hair dryer. The hotel is a bit far from Hiroshima station (30min walking) but you can take the tram. Once you are settle in the hotel, the location is very convenient if you want to visit the Peace Memorial Park. We only had 2 small suitcases so the lack of space was not a problem for us. We had a pleasant stay and we would not mind staying here again in the future, especially if the hotel fee is as good as when we booked it this time.

Good hotel overall;great locationPosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Carpets need replacing and they need pillows
Location: Location is great. The Peace Park and Hiroshima castle are within walking distance and there are a lot of places to eat close by.
The location is perfect. It is within walking distance of the Peace park. The hotel is a bit old but is clean and close to transportation. The only complain we have is that the staff was not very helpful. We were there 2 nights and after the first day, we asked to exchange on of the pillows because the ones we had (3) were not in good condition. The front desk told us that they did not have any other pillows and did not make any attempt to help us. but you get what you pay for. The rate was great and we were leaving the next day.

Great place to stay, familiar to locals and taxi drivers which is helpful. Close to trams so transport is easy and cheap. Bedroom view of memorial park was beautiful. Loved our stay here and will definately return

Especially helpful managerPosted Jul 13, 2014
It was raining heavily when we left to catch the bus back to Odawara. We were delighted when the woman at the front desk didn't hesitate to load 4 large westerners with suitcases into her vehicle and take us a few 100 metres uphill to the bus stop. Much appreciated.

Highly recommended for its location, price, staffPosted Jun 8, 2014
Due to flight delays, I missed my connecting shinkansen from Osaka to Hiroshima and stayed overnight in Himeiji instead. The hotel staff arranged for a cancellation of the first night of stay with expedia and a refund was done subsequently. The staff have no issues with English speaking guests. Good job! I felt relaxed, as the surrounding hotel area was quiet, calm and peaceful, near to the memorial park, museum. The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum was the most impactful museum I have visited in Japan. The hotel is within walkable distance to A-Dome and a few streetcar stops away from Hondori St, the main shopping district of the city. The hotel was easy to locate, walkable from streetcar stops. My room was facing the park and was able to see the A-Dome clearly. The only issue with the hotel will be the rooms are abit old.

Pleasant HotelPosted Jun 6, 2014
As we only stay in the hotel for a few days and much of time was spent sight seeing all I can say it was small but clean and comfortable following a flight from Australia and a several hour spent on the bullet train

Great position and comfortable accommodationPosted May 25, 2014
Perfect position for a short stay in Hiroshima. Nice restaurants nearby and rooms very comfortable. Be careful however, as we booked through expedia a room suitable for 2 adults and 2 children, and found we were given a room with 2 single beds only, and no additional beeding was available. Not very happy with that aspect, but was rest was good.
