Pros: The location is close to public transport, peace park complex, city centre. Small rooms but practical hotel for the planned overnight stay.

A lot of bang for your buck.Posted Jan 11, 2014
Once you learn the city rail train this hotel is very easy to get to and from. It's about 10 min ride from hiroshima (green train ¥240 ride) station and a 10 in walk from the bomb dome. To get to the bomb dome you do walk thru one of the main shopping plaza. The rooms are kinda small by Western standards but roomy for japan. Get bathroom with soaking tubs. There are always free drinks in the lobby, so ad juice coffee and tea. The free breakfast is great and very filling, a lot more food put out then expected. Also free washer and dryers which help us on our long backpacking trip thru all of japan.

Fantastc Location Love the Urbain HotelsPosted Nov 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Have stayed at both Urbain Hiroshima Central and Urbain Hiroshima Executive. Central is around 10 mins by streetcar from Hiroshima Station and in a fantastic central location close to the city centre/shops/restaurants (Executive was closer to Hiroshima station if you need to be based closer to that). Our room (Double room with no bath tub) had an open wardrobe area and plenty of room for our suitcases. We love the breakfast/communal area where you can enjoy tea/coffee/soft drinks and wifi. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Close to downtown HiroshimaPosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: The price, the location and the free use of a washer and dryer to do some laundry.
Cons: Free Wifi is only available in the lobby.
We walked with our luggage about 1 km from the JR station. The Peace Park was even closer. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

We enjoyed our stay , the beds as most in Japan are small, there was no wifi in rooms but able to access in breakfast area adjacent to lobby, free drinks machine hot and cold available there. Handy to street car stops .

Great choice in HiroshimaPosted Oct 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed for three nights at Urbain Hiroshima Central and would highly recommend it. The hotel was spotless, well located for the sights and the train station (around 15 mins walk), and very good value for money. The free buffet breakfast was a nice touch, along with free access to drinks and WiFi in the lobby area.

HIGHLY RCOMMENDEDPosted Aug 3, 2013
The hotel staff were great and went out of their way to help us. Housekeeping was good in supplying us fresh towels when we did not require room cleaning. Breakfast was always fresh, balanced, appetising and healthy. We particularly appreciated the availability of free drinks specially on hot days after a long day of sightseeing. It felt good sitting in the well-lighted breakfast room as it was like a home away from home. Location-wise, it was easy walk to all everywhere and transport almost at the hotel's doorstep. Another plus is the availability of in-room wifi which was quite important for us on this trip.

Pretty new hotelPosted Jun 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Service of the hotel was good. Front desk staff went the extra mile to help my partner and I find the directions and even the tram timing. There is a free drinks counter at the lobby. Rental of bicycles are available. I would stay in this hotel again in my future trip.

Ideal locationPosted Jun 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
As with most of the economical hotels in Japan, the room was small but extremely well organised. Service was excellent, bed was comfortable, and it was a nice touch to have free coffee, tea and water available 24/7 in the lobby. Actual location was amazing - easy walk from the train station (about 10 mins) the Peace Park (5-10 mins) and the downtown area (less than 5 mins to the best okonomiyaki that I've ever had!). Definitely would recommend.
