"Weekend Getaway"
Words cannot describe how wonderful our stay was. The accommodations were stellar and the staff was top notch! I encourage anyone who is thinking about going to Charleston that their trip will not be complete without staying at 27 State Street!

"3 days at Indigo"
We spent 3 nights at the Indigo this May. We enjoyed so many things about it. Our room had been recently remodeled and had a sofa and chair, a safe for our belongings, and a nice new shower. We enjoyed our room right on the courtyard and could step out to sit at the table and chairs. Everyone ate breakfast outside. Loved the breakfast of fruit, eggs, yogurt. Also, enjoyed the afternoon snacks and lemonade. The location could not have been better for walking all over the historic district and down to the waterfront. We walked everywhere. Great free internet.

"Very nice room and great breakfast."
The staff was very friendly and informative. The hotel was easy to get to from the historic district and much better in price. The room was very nice and roomy with all the amenities that you could ask for. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone going to Charleston.

"GREAT location with parking and kind service"
The welcome was very warm and we greatly enjoyed walking nearly everywhere of interest. Having convenient parking was a great blessing. Rooms aren't fancy but they are spacious. Ours was in the back and very quiet although the wood floors do make some sound. It was not a problem for me, though, and I'm a really light sleeper. I think guests took care to close the doors quietly and walk softly.

"Ok hotel."
Have stayed in Charleston many times this was my 2nd at the Days Inn. This time it was definitely not great. The toilet keep running after you flushed, hot water took a long time and on the second day I found a shoe under the bed that was not ours. Their also was a opening around the entire door. It locked but still I like for my doors to fit in the frame. It is nice to have on site parking and it is the perfect location. The first time we stay in 2014 was much better I think the rooms in the building on the office side might be better this time we were in the second building facing the Meeting Street Hotel.

Pocket Guide: Historic Charleston, Charleston Pet-friendly Hotels

Dating back to Colonial times, Charleston, home to 120,000 people, was nearly obliterated during the American Civil War.
