For a start, the information given in this website is not accurate! It's stated, superior room comes with shower or bathtub! Hotel staff told me all superior room in the hotel does not have bathtub! I have never came across any such hotel in any country I've been to. The reception staff actually have a control switch to the aircon in your room. The aircon in my room is super dirty and its not cold at all despite i've put to it the lowest degree, so everytime even i leave the room, I will leave it on but the staff seeing me leaving the hotel will switch it off from their main switch and everytime when I return to the room, i have to call them to switch it on and sometimes i have make 2 to 3 calls! The design of the bedframe is lousy, everytime, when you go down the bed, if you are not careful, you might knock your knee against the bedframe. The PC in the room is like a 486 system...the internet speed is so hopeless...however, the wifi is ok. The soundproofing of the room sucks! If you get inconsiderate people staying on the same level, you can forget about sleeping! Funny thing is, even soundproofing between levels is lousy as well. I keep hearing banging sound from upstairs! The breakfast...did I say breakfast??? forget it. It;s just too pathetic! The only thing that is normal and edible is the sunny side up eggs...but yet again, it depends on your luck...sometimes you will get a BURNED sunny side up egg. The only good thing is some of the staffs are friendly and helpful.

The room has to be double locked as the single bolt can still be openable from the outside if someone pushes the door hard enough.

A&EM Corp - The Petit HotelPosted Mar 23, 2011 on Hotels.com
Take a walk down the stretch of Ly Tu Trong & visitors will realize that this is one among a string of A&EM Corp hotels located in the city. If you're into aesthetics, you're more likely to be charmed by the appearance of the Le Prince outlet - which is 2 minutes down the road - and hope that the service provided there is equally charming. We were pleased to be able to check-in early but that's as far as satisfaction goes when it comes to service at this hotel. In general, the front desk staff were not too helpful nor friendly & seem to be too caught up surfing YouTube & online games. It could be a work culture - i am not too sure. The executive room we stayed in was conveniently equipped with a desktop computer & jacuzzi though internet connection was intermittent & we didn't quite figure how to work the temperatures of the bath. If there's something good to be said about the hotel, it has to be that it's located close enough to Ben Thanh market & eateries are abundant as you walk down the roads. The hotel is also away from the main thoroughfare so you will be spared from the honking from Ho Chi Minh's infamous bikes.

A&EM Corp - The Petit Hotel, Horrendous ServicePosted Mar 4, 2011 on Hotels.com
The hotel originally gave us a room in the basement. When I requested a different room, they said that we were given that room because we booked online through hotels.com. After much complaining, we were given a different room. It was easy to tell that the hotel had lots of rooms available. The staff were very surly. They gave us no information about the hours for breakfast, cost of items in the mini-bar etc. Their attitude and service was horrendous. The room itself was small and decorated in silver (ncluding silver embossed wallpaper) - quite over the top. Breakast was the only good thing about the hotel - very good buffet with Vietnamese and Western food.
