Overall Nice Hotel - Would Recommend
We arrived before the check-in time and asked for early check-in but the hotel's staff told us that no early check-in was possible. The hotel was nice and clean. Our room was also clean and had all necessary amenities. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. The location of the hotel was good - walking distance to airport bus, nice park, local markets as well as many local restaurants and entertainment. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Overall good location . Barring couple of staff, speaking in English is a problem. Particularly in HCM, it is a must. Otherwise quite impressed .

Good hotel in a great central location
Asian Ruby Park View (aka Asian Ruby 3) is a good hotel with a great location in District 1. The hotel is a couple of minutes walking distance to Ben Thanh market and overlooks the park. Basic no frills hotel that is comfortable with contemporary styled rooms. The rooms are clean and very reasonable in price. The breakfast buffet is fine but nothing to write home about. This a good hotel for those that like the location and want to be within walking distance to central district 1.

At first I booked this hotel twice by accident and they helped me cancel it without penalty. The stay there is convenient to activities and supermarket across the street. If you need to exchange money, they were able to exchange close to market rate. Every USD I exchanged I only lost 1 cent. So overall not bad.

Nice hotel but small room, closed to 23/9 park
I was given a very small room with no window . When I complained by showing them the details on expedia , one double bed, one double bed , The receiptionist told me that they do not have such room. I told them that through the booking, I found that they never list no window either , otherwise , I would never book such room . After few minutes, they gave me another room with 2 beds , still no windows ... I stayed 3 nights enjoyed the park across the hotel and eat at the Asian food market nearby ...

Rest after 19 hour flight from USA
The hotel and staff was A -1 I had a great room and a great bath tub that I used fur to a knee operation in the states.food around the hotel for me was great. Of course the steep walk into the hotel was a little challenging but understood due to my condition. The food in the morning was ok so all I shale return. PS the young men tending the door and handling the lugging of bags was fantastic.

An oldie but (with some work) goldie
It's location was the major reason why I chose the place. It's within walking distance of most city attractions such as Ben Thanh market, the Fine Arts museum and local eateries. The park directly across the street is gorgeous and comes alive in the mornings and evenings when locals come to exercise or chill. Their breakfast buffet spread was decent but could use some daily variety. Most of the staff don't speak English very well but they try their best to accomodate your needs. Wifi gets wonky sometimes but is generally fast enough for emails and browsing. Being an old building, the walls are pretty thin. Which means you hear EVERYTHING that goes on outside your room. From footsteps going up and down the metal stairs to the honking of Ho Chi Minh city traffic. But my biggest gripe would be the shower, I felt like a bipolar Goldilocks trying to get that thing to work as it was either always too hot or too cold. I'd still recommend it as it's value for money but just managed your expectations.

Great location but could use a bit of an upgrade.
Good location except for light sleepers. Music from across the street was loud even on the 8th floor until late. Bed was noisy & lumpy. But room had fridge, water kettle, instant coffee and tea. Located across from a full time market and a weekend street market. Would stay again. Good value for the price.

Decent Hotel Near Back Packer's Area
This is a decent place near the Back Packer's area. It's far enough away from Bui Vien so you don't hear the constant music and loud people, but close enough to be near the center area.

Right in the Heart of Old Saigon
Located in the heart of the tourist spot the hotel is handy to markets, bars, restaurants and coffee shops. There is a food court across the road and the Fu Ta bus service central office is 2 mins walk away. We also took ourselves on the Lonely Planet walking tour of Old Saigon which starts at the park 3 mins walk away. The area is very noisy and busy so take ear plugs and be brave crossing the roads.

Good
Overall, had a good stay at this hotel. Check in was quick and the receptionists were courteous. Room was a good size for 2 persons. TV had channels in English. Water pressure in the shower was good and it did not run out of hot water. However, the bathroom could use some more cleaning as it had a damp, moldy smell. Also noticed that the complimentary toiletries were not really checked or replaced. Lifted a small box (probably with shower cap inside) and one side looked to have been soaked in water for a while. This was before we even used the bathroom sink Breakfast had a good variety and included pho. Tip: don't go too early as some food items are not yet available. Don't go too late either as it does not seem like all food items are replenished.

Very friendly staff who will take good care of your needs, comfort bed & good a/c. However, bathroom needs improvement - unpleasant smell & some mold on wall. Easy to take Grab around with reasonable price - arrive within minutes. Park across the street which usually plays music at night - so this could be an issue for people who like quiet environment but would be a plus for people who enjoy night life. Take plaza inside the park sells various of food but don't eat bun nem nướng - it's horrible.

This is a nice little hotel in a great location walking distance to the fun and action of Bui Vien street but far enough to avoid the noise. Walls are a little thin and you can totally hear the noise in the hallways. We had loud neighbors during our stay but overall, this hotel was clean and a great value for the price.

Very nice hotel at a very reasonable price
This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, especially at the price. It's in the city center and a short cab ride to the cultural sites you might want to see while touring, but isn't in a rowdy backpacker area. Nice place to relax and the service is great, with several on site restaurants

Nice hotel, good location, awful wifi
I stayed at Asian Ruby Parkview Hotel for three nights while visiting HCMC. I chose the hotel because it seemed to be in a convenient location, and it definitely was. There are lots of restaurants nearby and plenty of tour agencies to help you with sightseeing. The Hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast had a very nice selection. The only reason I'm not giving them a full point higher in my rating is that the WIFI was horrible. It is truly the worst I've seen in Asia, and I've been to a lot of remote places lately. WIFI is important to me because I work while traveling. I talked to the staff three times and they always said that t hey'd have maintenance check it out, but it was bad my whole stay. So I wound up spending a lot of time in Coffee Shops to get some work done. If WIFI is not important to you, you could add a full point to my rating. The hotel is a good value for the money, and if not for the WIFI issue, I'd stay there again.

Don't book the Double Room, Get the Twin Room
I've stayed here several times and its a decent hotel, with silk robes in the closet, and ethernet ports in the room. However it's not a 3 Star hotel. If they were really a 3-Star hotel they would display their government issued 3-Star plaque on the front of the building or behind the front desk. It's nowhere to be seen probably because they don't have one. Their sister hotel Asian Ruby Central has a 2-Star plaque in the front. I booked the Deluxe Room listed as 27 m2. I measured 25 m2, so it's about right. Keep in mind that their Deluxe Double Rooms and Deluxe Twin rooms are not the same size, even though they group them in the same category. For example, the Deluxe Twin Room is 25 m2, but the Deluxe Double room is half the size. Both are Deluxe rooms, but one is a lot smaller than the other. So if you are going to book a room, book the twin room instead, and then have them put the two twin beds together to form a large bed. If you get the Deluxe Double room, the room is going to be half the size of the Deluxe twin room. The Deluxe and Premium rooms are similar except the Premium rooms have a view of the park. I recommend you book the Premium Twin Room because the window has a nice view of the park. Ask them to put the two twin beds together. The Premium Double room is too small. The Deluxe Double room has a view of the city, but is too small. The Deluxe Twin room is larger, but has no views - the window looks at a staircase.

Booked 2 day trips threw front desk, slightly higher cost but it was a good travel company. Front desk did not have a cork screw to lend or ice to give out, said restraunt closed. Park across the street was busy with New Years celebration, very nice displays. Lots of restraunts, bars, street venders, travel agents near by. Good experience.

Comfortable room near the park
After staying in various hotels with no windows, it was a refreshing change to stay at Asian Ruby Parkview with an actual view of the park. However upon check in after booking the Premier room that has a view of the park, I was placed in one of the side rooms with a view of the roofs of houses. It is technically a premier room but these side rooms don't have a view of the park. After agreeing to wait for about 20mins, I was given a room that has a view of the park. This makes a big difference as the side room windows are very small compared to the room I got overlooking the park. Also my room has a door that connects it to an adjacent room and I could here the guy in the next room with a hacking loud high pitch cough all night. Sounded like he was in the same room as me! Other than that, the room was very comfortable, good bed, air con was weak because this room has a lot of sunlight. Curtains are also a little bit too short as it let in sunlight on the bottom in the mornings, that and the coughing kept me from having a good sleep despite the comfortable bed. The location is great, as it is across the street from the park. Near but not in the heart of the backpacker area and also closer to the shopping of Ben Thanh market. Overall a good place to stay.
