The staff speak good English an you won't have any issues conversing to find things out about the city where to go an what to see they also do a good breaky in the mornings. The location of the hotel puts you right in the middle bui vein an Pham ngo Lao road in district 1. I recommend this hotel if your after a nice an easy stay at a hotel

Very nice and helpful staffPosted May 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff here are very nice and helpful! They helped us to book the train tickets, and offered free shower the next day before we left Saigon. The room in general is okay, quite small. There's a pub next door, which is very noisy. But the rooms are facing the other side, which is not that bad. The location is very convenient, walkable to all the main attractions in Saigon.

Noisy at night!!!Posted Jan 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is located in District 1, on the busy street, next to three very very loud bars!!! Even though they have double glazing, music is banging on until 6am in the morning on the weekends. Good for parties, not good for rest, unless you want to sleep during the day. There was no hot water prior our departure at 8am and when we asked at the reception what the problem was, we were told that they just switched it on..... I found staff quite unfriendly too. There are heaps of cheaper hotels in the area, hidden in the little, quiet ally ways, I just left it until very last moment and everything was booked out.

We booked a standard room with twin bed, but was given a double bed (though upgraded to deluxe room) and promised a change of room the next day. The deluxe room was comfortably large and clean, but the downside was its proximity to a bar just across the street and the noise level was higher than that emitted from the TV. Noise only stopped around 4am. The next day we were told our twin bed was still unavailable as someone has decided to extend their stay, and we were changed to a smaller room with no windows. It was quiet but had a smell and the bedsheet and towels seem kinda damp and used... Well I think it's ok for a short stay as we only stayed for two nights. Location was quite okay.. :)

Party HotelPosted Aug 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
This is an adequate hotel located in the heart of district one! The hotel is located right next door to the go 2 bar and surrounded by many others, so if your looking to party, this is the hotel to stay at. If your looking for something a little quiter, do not stay here. I stayed here four nights and got to know most of the street sellers and bar staff pretty well. Yes, the street sellers can annoy you at first, but after a while they can be come a great resource of 'real' information if you treat them well.

Fantastic Western Style Hotelfor no hassel stayPosted Jun 27, 2012
Pros: Western Style,/ Clean./ Elevator/Location
Location: On De Tham street , amongst the hustle and bustle of everyday commerce. Good place to become accustomed to Viet Traffic and get bearings.
This is truly the Hotel to book for a no nonsense stay in Ho Chi Minh City. Situated in District one close to thew Mekong it is within easy reach of all the main attractions such as war memorial etc. The rooms are western style, were extremely clean and well serviced,An elevator to all floors being a bonus. Tables set up outside the foyer slap bang on the road side are a nice position to Have a beer or a meal and to get your bearings and experience the Hustle and Bustle of a major Vietnamese city. There are scores of eating establishments within walking distance offering all delicious cuisines of the east at extremely cheap prices The staff were very helpful with any information or problem that may arise and are genuinely interested in travelers tales. Many expats that work in Saigon congregate there for a beer and a chat also . This will be my hotel of choice when I return to Vietnam on a regular basis.
