Pros: Friendly helpful service
Cons: Nothing
Location: Close to centre yet quiet
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble. Free foot massage on first day and we had an early checkin after a 12 hour flight. Brilliant! Yummy breakfast . Hotel transport by local taxis. No complaints at all. Company also do Mekong river trips - equally good. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't like big chain hotels.

Pros: Staff, location, beautiful room
Location: Very central
What a great place! Perfect location for walking around Ho Chi Minh city and exploring. The room was perfect - very spacious and comfortable with a great little balcony, soaker tub, big bed and high ceilings. Most of all, the staff were superbly friendly and excitedly offered information about things to do, where to eat. I felt so welcome there and would highly recommend it.

Perfect serene hideaway in central Hcm

We stayed at the Cinnamon hotel for our first night in Vietnam. We were greeted by charming staff and refreshing cocktails, just what we needed! The rooms are simply but beautifully decorated and have everything you need. The location of the hotel is perfect, tucked away from the maddness but still very accessible. This is a great hotel for someone looking for a budget boutique hotel with a more intimate feel than a big chain. We would recommend it!

The staff was very accommodating. The rooms are simply appointed, but very functional. They arranged tours for us and provided us with extra waters for day trips. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see in they city.

From the minute I checked in, there was never anything I needed that wasnt attended to by the young cheerful friendly staff. I requested a first floor room (Apricot) that was roadside with a balcony so a little noisy for those who are sensitive to the hustle & bustle of HCMC - I love it and slept beautifully each night. Other rooms are very quiet. great bed and the best shower I had during my 2 week stay in Vietnam. great location & staff even walked me down to the local DVD store for a couple of specific titles I was after. Boutique is the way to go. Throw in a free 45 minute foot massage, free cocktail, fruit bowl plus a varied and tasty breakfast menu to choose from and it is hard to fault. Book early I think!

Loved the balcony room we had. A spacious room with lots of character and well executed boutique feel. Walking distance to all district 1 spots. The breakfast was generous but the western food not that tasty. Would definitely go back. Friendly staff and vibe.

We will return - no complaints whatsoever. Ask for a room on a high floor (as we had), as the street noise bothered some other guests (not us).

Cinnamon HOtel - boutique with personalied service

With smiling staff, this hotel is a home away from home in an interesting street about 8 minutes walk from the Ben Thanh markets. The staff are happy to answer any questions, give advice, order taxis, change money, organise massages. Loved the fresh and delicious breakfast - 4 course with option of vietnamese or western with juices, eggs, bacon, Pho, banana pancakes etc. Make sure you try the Iced coffee, with or without condensed milk...almost tastes like really dark chocolate. Noisy street during peaktimes but the windows shut most of the noise out. We had one of the front rooms with a balcony (complete with bougainvillea and other plants), view of the city and the street below. Large room with french doors and windows. Big bathroom with bath, TV...perfect. No lift, but after an evening of eating out at the great markets or restaurants we needed to climb some stairs! We stayed 3 nights, then another night after a Mekong delta cycling tour, then another night before our flight home. Loved it!
