exemplory service and a real homely venue!Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: service in particular.
Cons: limited storage space in the higher rooms with a view! ( they are smaller rooms that the lower ones)
Location: ideal location. shops nearby; great cafe; all sightseeing of interest; or tours provided and booked by and from the hotel.
the travel experience to vietnam was fraught with monumental dramas for me with visa issues, lost bags and unsavoury flights, but the HOTEL component of my trip was a real hi light. the service and overall experience for me at the eden hotel was a delight; - i would definitely recommend to others!

Nice hotelPosted Jun 4, 2014
Hotel is lovely with nice clean rooms - good amenities (rooftop pool, on site massage, some tour bookings). Staff wasn't rude, and were efficient when they understood requests (I only speak English so sometimes struggled to convey information) but certainly could have been friendlier. Restaurant fare was average. Overall, a good place to stay as it is a nice facility within walking distance of many points of interest. Just set your expectations lower for restaurant fare and warmth of staff service.

A pleasant surprisePosted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, location and service from satff
Cons: how the food is kept warm once transferred from the kitchen to your room
Location: Opera House, War Memorial and market within walking distance. Cu Chi tunnels 1.5 hours away. Information booth at the Hotel can arrange all tours.
We stayed 2 nights at the Eden Saigon. On check-in we were upgraded from double deluxe to executive which was really appreciated. The information counter person was able to organise a private car and english speaking guide for us to visit the cu chi tunnels within 2 hours of me asking - and at a very reasonable price. The guide was terrific, knowledgeable and friendly. Our room was a good size allowing unrestricted movement. It was clean and tidy. I had a few issues working out the tap system for the shower and spa bath, but ended up getting there in the end. The room service was quick, although slightly luke warm, unfortunately we were too tired to go out after flying in so late on the first night. The location was good, it is a busy street but you are in a city. It is a 10min walk from the markets and close enough to walk to most places of interest although the rickshaw riders will tell you different. Guess it depends on how much walking you like to do. We were too busy to use the gym or pool. The buffet breakfast caters for everyone's palate and they offer vietnamese cuisine. The free wifi worked perfectly. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Great Hotel, right in the heart of SaigonPosted May 7, 2014
Well appointed, comfortable hotel right in the heart of District 1. The room was well appointed, with everything you would expect from a 4 star property. Great selection of foods for breakfast, fantastic pool area and super friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Nice central hotelPosted May 3, 2014
Pros: Free WiFi, excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms, very nice staff
Cons: Reduce their prices for food and drink in the hotel, this way they will attract a lot more business from the people that stay there.
Location: Walk to Ben Than Market
The hotel itself is comfortable, clean and the staff are lovely but they charge too much to eat or drink there. I have moved onto a hotel in Hoi An and the hotel only charge what is charged out on the street. Not three times as much.

Air Conditioning Heaven in Steamy CityPosted Apr 30, 2014
Pros: Efficiency of services.
Cons: Mattresses are too hard to be comfortable, and larger water bottles in rooms would be nice.
Location: Much to see in HCMC, from tunnels outside, to museums and Mekong delta. A bustling vibrant city is there for you to explore1
This hotel is perfectly situated in HCMC. Great views from 9th floor and best tour organization for outside excursions at fabulous prices.
