“Bait & Switch”
I wanted a suite with a separate room for my 15-year-old daughter. We got 2 separate beds, instead. We had only 1 TV, consequently, & my daughter took it over, along with the voltage converter & laptop charging. I wanted a kitchenette. No kitchenette. The tap water was good, and small food stores were very close & very adequately stocked. > TRAFFIC IN HO CHI MINH CITY IS THE WORST IN THE WORLD! IT WAS WORTH YOUR LIFE JUST TO CROSS THE STREET!< Taxis are cheap, the VND is cheap yet stable, & the U.S. dollar goes a LONG way. Best conversion rate is at the hotel, quick & convenient, any time, day or night. Motorcycle exhaust makes the air pollution constantly bad; this is what will most likely make you sick, along with going from hot outside to air conditioning to hot outside again. Complimentary breakfast, Western or Asian, was good except for the always overcooked & eggshell-ridden hard boiled eggs. Hotel menu was limited, but good.
