Nice hotel a little way from the centre

Really nice little hotel with friendly staff in a busy location north of the centre. Don't expect to be within walking distance of town but it is only 70/80k dong for a taxi to district 1. The coffee in the morning is awesome!!

Far from the tourist attraction..

Posted Jun 10, 2014
Firstly, the staff is friendly..but the only thing is they dont really can speak or understand so much of english..but as for simple english they manage to understand. Hotel is far from the tourist attractions. Hotel food have lesser choice. Hotel view is really not good at all. As for room, its average..during my stay i can even count how many occupant in the hotel as it is not the tourist kind of place to stay..

Faifoo Boutique Hotel is delightful place with very hospitable owners & employees. All speak English well and I was made to feel like a welcome friend. All went out of their way to do nice things for me. I will definitly stay there whenever I am in Saigon. The neighborhood looks ordinary for Saigon, but the hotel is 50 meters off the main street at the end of a quiet street with impressive private homes next to it. Great garden dining area. This hotel is so perfectly Asian, looking, it could be used for a movie location. I only had breakfast there and it was very good. Also don't miss going for aa afternoon coffee or tea at the Passion Cafe next door. It is quiet & has a beautiful garden set around a fish pond.

A fine hotel, nothing fancy

The faifoo was just fine. We stayed only one night, but the surroundings are lively, staff is good, everything as expected, we thought it was a good value for money.
