“Wish we could stay longer! This is a great hotel!”

We booked the club level with full breakfast. I highly recommend doing this. We were treated like royalty and the food is excellent. The view is also something to see.The entire staff is very friendly and helpful and the service is 5 star quality. The rooms are very comfortable and have great views. I will be coming back next time I come to Ho Chi Minh City. This was an excellent choice!

“Phantastic, service oriented hotel”

Nice hotel, we booked via expedia and were not dissatisfied ! Large, but very much focus on quality and service. Large rooms, perfect beds. In district nr 5, bit outside of Sai Gon district 1 but no problem as you can get away from busy surroudings. District 5 also nice to walk around. Not a boutique hotel, but the same focus on comfort. Well done !

“What a gem in Ho Chi Minh”

Hotel was excellent - from the massive beds, to the swim up bar in the roof top pool. Buffet was additional but worth the cost- a great selection. Staff have excellent english ability. Customer service was impeccable. We were all impressed.

Overall great value hotel in HCMC however the breakfast buffet was just too expensive for a very limited selections.

The staff at the hotel was always eager to help you in any way they could. Very friendly people. I would have liked to be a little closer to the river but its a short taxi ride away. And the hotel also has a shuttle bus that will drop you off and pick you up any time you want to go.Breakfast was good and the dinner was good also but stay away from the hamburger(wasnt very good compared to an American burger).

“Equitorial hotel Saigon - just do it you cant go wrong”

This was my fourth trip to Saigon. In my travels I have never found another hotel that was as welcoming and luxurious as the Equatorial hotel. We had a very competitive price from Expedia and upon check-in we were offered the upgrade to the 11th floor premium level. I must say that for the money, this was a fantastic bargain. We had 24 hour snacks and drinks free in the lounge on our private floor and a private chef for breakfast and dinner snacks. The rooms on the 11th floor are wonderful. Perfectly clean with a comfortable bed and a large marbled bathroom with piles and piles of large fluffy soft towels. The pool is fantastic and a refreshing way to wake up before venturing out into the hot busy city. As great as this hotel is... what makes the difference here is the staff. As the 11th floor is a private area only for the premium guest it has a dedicated staff. I came to know all of them as it seems that only the finest Equatorial employees work on that floor. They were warm and friendly - helpfull and really did all they could to give us anything we needed. I can give no higher reccomendation to any hotel in Saigon. If you want to stay in a nice first district hotel stay at the Equitorial. Get the upgrade. It will be money well spent. We spent 4 nights here before going back to a small street hotel in an outlying district and it was the perfect way to recharge for us. Thank you

Great Hotel, i will stay there every time I visit Saigon, I stay on the club floor and am always treated like family. If I had 1 criticism would be a lack of a decent lobby bar, however the restaurant Orientica excellent and main one serving the buffet is value plus. This hotel is my first choice in Vietnam. For a great feed also try the Aulac Brazil Restaurant simply great food fresh and very very tasty.

“Fantastic Hotel!”

This hotel was absolutely gorgeous. Fantastic rooms and great service. Nice and quiet for sleeping in view of noisy Ho Chi Minh! The neighbourhood is not the most interesting for tourists, you will need to taxi it to get to places of interest and there is not much around in the way of friendly places to have a drink after dinner etc. We were really just after a comfy place to crash so it was way more than we expected.
