“Good Choice.”

We really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Nice and clean. The immediate area around the hotel doesn't have a lot of stuff but it didn't matter because we used the free shuttle service provided by the hotel everyday.

“Business hotel”

Although this hotel is nice we felt it was more of a business mans hotel, it is just a little out of town than we would normally choose!

“Equatorial Hotel HCMC”

The Equatorial is a bargain 4+ star hotel. However it is an older hotel and rooms are on the smaller side with older but niece furnishings. The hotel is also a bit inconvenient for tourists that may want to be closer to the heart of the city, sites and shopping. Food was excellent but expensive. Staff was very friendly and met all of our needs with their limited English abilities. Overall we were very satisfied with our hotel stay but will most likely look at other alternatives the next time we visit Ho Chi Minh.

“Good for Vietnam”

Clean hotel, nice people, good rooms. Street noise was a problem even on the 9th floor. Restaurant was expensive for Vietnam, pricing was more like 5 star resort in Palm Springs. There was nothing in walking distance worth visiting but the Hotel provided a free shuttle that would take you to the better areas to visit.

“Nice Hotel”

A great hotekl with nice amenities and gym. Only complaints are that the food in the restaurant and cafe is pricey. Also, the hotel is far from the city center.

“Five star hotel at three star price”

Whilst the location isnt exactly in the heart of district one it is walking distance of all of the attractions. If you dont fancy walking the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus service to some of the main sights. Alternatively there are taxis lined up outside to take you to any specific location. The leisure centre is much bigger than I have been used to for a hotel. The pool was useful to cool down after a hot day. The pool is open until 10 o'clock at night. The staff couldnt have been more helpful throughout my stay. The general condition of the hotel is good.

“Will be back”

Good location, excellent staff. Especially at the 11th Exclusive floor.

“Not the right place for tourists”

The hotel service was great, worth mentioning also the buffet both for breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, as a tourist this hotel is a bit outside of the main attractions and city centre. This is normally not a problem since the hotel has complimentary shuttle service, but the constant traffic congestion makes it inconvenient at times (I actually decided to get out and start walking after being stuck at the same spot for half an hour once). The hotel offers attraction tours to the tunnels, Mekong delta, etc. which I think was interesting and worth joining.
