“best Hotel in H Chi Min”
we were only there for a few nights, but after all the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Min it was a welcome relief at the end of our stay in Vietnam, fantastic service by al the staff, we stayed in the "executive suite" and was impressed by the service especially the express check in and out on the 14th floor. Be sure to indulge yourself in the "hight tea" and the "free drinks and nibbles" The pool is big and seating around it is comfortable with excellent pool service. Good breakfast selection after eating some not so memorable meals on our tour. A fantastic and luxuorios way to end our holiday.
“Pleasantly Surprised”
I decided against a known U.S. brand name and selected this hotel based on reviews I'd read. It was very clean, a little dated, but elegant and with a friendly staff. I liked the fact that the internet was included in the room rate. the meals taken in the hotel restaurant were of high quality and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
“Saigon Stay”
Excellent location, with river views and access to Saigon's fascinating day and night life. Excellent concierge services with international clientele, including many families. Jacuzzi and pool were not heated but well maintained. Attentive to safety and service.
“The perfect holiday location”
Excellent - a group of 6, perfect venue, location, care and service. Food, gym, pool.. all terrific. The executive room deal was a great decision with bonus treats, a great club room and wonderful service and assistance with everything.
“Just Really Nice Without The Crazy Price Tag”
We booked this room on Expedia with all taxes and fees for a really great price (way less than rack rate). For that price, we were VERY impressed with the room, service, and amenities of the Legend hotel. The breakfast buffet is excellent, the pool is wonderful, and the staff are friendly AND available. It was really a treat after traveling around the country. The room itself was the most "western" of all the rooms we had with over 20 channels in English, a wonderful "Japanese-Style" commode, and plenty of room (along with a river-view). The outside is a little plain, but I'm sure you'll be pleased with the interior.
“Business Travel”
Legend Hotel Saigon is a local hotel and the rooms are maybe a little on the old side. They were clean and relatively comfortable, and perfectly fine for my purposes. Americans used to the big chain hotels might not be super impressed, but overall this is a very nice hotel. I really liked the little snack bar out by the pool - its open until 8:00 pm and serves great drinks and food. Also much more reasonably priced than the food inside. Its a great way to kick back after a hot and humid Vietnamese day full of meetings!
“Gracious hotel and service”
Wonderful views of the river - make sure you request river view room. If you need total quiet go for the back rooms overlooking the pool as there is some traffic noise on the river front side. However, we didn't find the noise too bad, and compared to other 4 and 5 star hotels in the downtown area, we thought the location was reasonably quiet. Spacious clean room with nice bathroom although shower head is a little low for tall people. Comfortable beds with duvets and lots of soft pillows. Buffet breakfast very nice with plenty of western and asian choices. The pool is fabulous with sunny and shady areas, and a bar where you can order light meals. Helpful and friendly staff - we felt well looked after.
“Execllent Choice in Saigon”
Excellent location with easy access to the city and major roads out of the city. Staff was exceptionally helpful. Beautiful pool and a fantastic breakfast buffet. Appears to be aimed primarily at Japanese guests, but we felt right at home.
“Salute Legend Saigon Hotel for their superb servic”
My wife and I just got back from 3 weeks of the SE Asian trip this week. We booked 3 nights at Legend hotel in Saigon or Ho Chi Min city via expedia Website. This was the best thing that happened throughout our trip. Our final stop in SGN at this hotel before returning back to Portland, Oregon was a very restful, delightful. The room was super clean, comfortable, quiet, and the staff were very courteous, professional, and eager to assist guests. The breakfst buffet was very generous, delicious with a variety of selections. The room rate was great and they gave us a free upgrade in executive floor with a nice river view. I choose this hotel based on Trip Advisor and we will stay again w/o hestitation if we have a chance to revisit SGN. I salute the hotel staff and management for their excellent service. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly!
“Clean and presentable”
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate. Short walk from shopping district...some rooms look out onto the river.
