“Value far beyond expectation”

Porters open the door for you each and every time to get back to the hotel. Ladies at reception bend over back ward to help you find what ever you desire be it tours or accomodation in other areas of Vietnam. They filter honestly any offers you get on the street and no one looks for a tip. It is full american style service without anyone putting their hand out for cash. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. There is no resturant but right next door at the highland coffee shop you get great food and service at good prices. The bus station area is on the corner of the block. You can catch a bus anywhere in Vietnam at dirt cheap prices, get a suit tailor made for very little, have your teeth bleached by a dentist for next to nothing, have an hour massage for the price of a coffee back home or a beer for half the price of a bottle ofwater back home, all on the block that the hotel is situated on.

Had switched from a so-called 5 star hotel after a few days of stay in HCM and if I had not known better, I would have thought this was the 5 star hotel instead. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive! (ok, not all but I would not let 1 or 2 who are not very friendly looking take credits off those who really excelled). I changed room 3x before settling on one I liked and the staff were patient and had the right attitude about it. The change was due to it being on the low floor and other being without a balcony, nothing to do with poor maintenance etc. Kudos to the staff! something the 5 stars hotel can learn a thing or two from? The place was very clean, very satisfied on that account. The lift could do with a little upgrading as there is only one lift and kinda slow. As my room was facing the pub and the street, it was a little noisy but it was bearable. Would definitely stay in this hotel if I do go back to HCM. Ben Thanh market was walking distance away, big round on cab, so walk, that will be a better option. Only disappointment is I could not find a massage place. Dropped by nearby hotel but was not comfortable when I was told that I had to pay 2x tips on top of the amt for the massage. I also noticed that all the patrons walking in and out were men, so decided against it. Tailoring an au yang or cheong sum, there are some shops just round the corner that offer pretty decent prices (at least to me).

“Very Nice Hotel”

The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and not cramped. The A/C works well once it's turned on. Complimentary breakfast is served in the adjoining Coffee House and was a buffet when I went. There are a few bars/clubs within walking distance which is always nice if you're into the night life. Lots of other places to see near by. The hotel staff will assist with getting cabs and making sure the drivers know where you're going. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Loved the Place”

We were really please with Liberty 3. The rooms were comfortable and clean (i fell in love with my pillow) bathroom great and the large window overlooking the park was a huge plus. The Staff were wonderful and willing help in any way - crossing the road, getting a taxi, even went with me to the police station to make a report when i lost my camera. I couldnt fault them in any way. Breakfast was good and the location was perfect for us. We feel it is good value. Although there may be cheaper hotels around the area I would be more than happy to stay there again I could not be more happy with my stay at Liberty 3.

We had a great stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful, they were able to help us with any questions we had about things to do, places to eat and with accessing banks. The room had everything you could need was comfortable, clean and well serviced.

Liberty 3 was a very clean and comfortable hotel. The receptionists were very nice and helpful. The rooms don't look like the photos but no place does. Still I was very happy with the place, great location, can walk everywhere. I would stay here again.

“Decent Hotel, Great Price”

For the price, you can't go wrong here. The room was small and fairly minimalist, but had everything I needed, incuding a bathroom/shower in the room. The walls/ceilings are thin - I could hear my friend's TV or phone in the room above mine. The hotel is right in the downtown area. It included a free breakfast, and the laundry service was quite affordable. Service personnel were very polite and prompt.

“Centrally located and comfortable”

A great hotel for being well situated close to varied choice of eateries and gift shops. Also very close to various sightseeing offices and departure points for out-of-town tours so there is plenty to choose from even late into the night. I loved the convenience of the location most of all but the quality of the hotel was equally good and the service was good in every way. Hot water (in flasks for drinking) came promptly when we asked for it. Old newspapers for repacking our teapot souvenirs was available when we asked. The cotton duvets (on my camp bed as we stayed in a triple) made sleeping under really comfortable and choice of breakfast was good. Service with a smile all round. The only thing i can think if I really had to think of something bad to say would be the crackly telephone line from our room to the reception! Byt hey, what is that compared to our lovely experience of a comfortable three night stay for a triple when you have just come off the plane dazed from a 13hour flight. We were pleased enough with our stay that we rebooked it for the return leg of our trip in Vietnam after we had travelled up and down the country for 16days. The desk price even worked out a few pounds cheaper!
