This hotel was located in the backpack area of Ho Chi Minh City, but it was very nice compared with the surrounding options. The lobby is spacious and very nicely decorated and the room was spacious and clean. I was very happy with my stay. A good value.

“Worth looking into”

It was a diamond in the backpacker district. Staff was fantastic, very professional, English fluent and delightful to interact with this included bellmen, front desk and cleaning service staff. Taxi drivers will know the street as it is on a main street. You are a 7 minute walk from Ben Thanh and 15 minute walk to the heart of downtown. If you have traveled around Vietnam for a while, this is a great stop over. It has all the western amenities, even chocolate coco puffs on the breakfast buffet. The designer spent a lot of time working on making this a western friendly hotel. This is great if you want comfort and the have the money. However, you will not feel like you are in Vietnam staying there, its really your preference in travel.

My second visit to this good hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. It's in the heart of the 'quartier routard' (backpacker district) but offers a smoother, calmer experience than a guest house for a very reasonable price. Rooms are comfortable, the staff give you a warm welcome and the breakfast buffet is very good.

“Good hotel, particularly at the price!”

We stayed at this hotel for a week in November 2011 and were very pleased with it. The nightly rate was very reasonable and the quality and service compared well with places that charged a lot more. It has a fair buffet breakfast, working air conditioning and some of the most helpful and pleasant door staff I have ever encountered. It is in the middle of the Pham Ngu Lao/ De Tham area which is a magnet for foreign travellers and has a lot of restaurants, travel agencies and so on, although many of the city sights are a (short and cheap) taxi ride away. Recommended.

A great place to stay if you want to be close to city centre but not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Doormen were great and were there to help us cross the road everytime.

Hotel is middle of the range in a good location. You can walk a lot of places. Tour shops are close by. Ensure you obtain competitive quotes for tours as price varies even on a day trip by up to $5 per person
