Good location.Posted Oct 22, 2013
Clean hotel, friendly English-speaking staff, free wifi access in room, movie channel available on tv. However, breakfast buffet spread is limited.

Variable quality rooms, communication not goodPosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed at L3 with 3 friends, + daughter who lives here. My room was lovely, but others were variable. My friend's 'upgraded room' was spacious with a lounge, but the bathroom was poky and old. Whilst friendly and wanting to be helpful, the Reception staff had patchy English. It was hard to make ourselves understood. On a previous visit I stayed at The Elios (presently undergoing restoration). Elios is much cheaper, with fine staff and a much better breakfast. I love staying in the 'backpacker's' area, but would suggest Elios for an 'over-all' rating. That said, the rooms were very clean, and my bathroom was lovely. I would stay again, but I'd learn a little Vietnamese to speed up the service!

Not worth it. Shop around.Posted Apr 3, 2013
Pros: Newish television with USB media playback
Cons: Poor service, old decor, inaccurate description of room
Location: Pham ngu lao street is a great location for young backpackers, though Buu Vien is just as good. Le Lai is still close and much cheaper.
I booked this hotel via Expedia and was expecting a Suite with a sofa and a balcony. When I went up to my room (on my own) I found a small room with neither a sofa or a balcony. When I complained they told me that they placed me in that room as the "suite" had two single beds. I asked them to switch my rooms for me and to take my luggage to the new room. When I returned to the hotel they had done nothing. My luggage was still in the old room and I had to move to the new room myself. The "suite" still did not have a sofa and the balcony was very small. Unfortunate as it is, as soon as some Vietnamese establishments have your money, they will not bother to treat you well. I ended up staying at a different, newer hotel later for nearly half the price and basically the same amenities. Shop around if you can.

Central Saigon oasisPosted Mar 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Although located in the most touristy busy part of HCMC, the hotel is clean, spacious and well kept. The rooms are large with ample AC. The desk staff are friendly, knowledgable and here to help including changing money and making reservations for restaurants and get taxis. That includes getting good rates. Overall a place I would stay in again. Actually we will for our last night in VN.

We were enjoying the hotel & the room was a decent size although the balcony isn't really a balcony as you can't go & relax on it. I was annoyed when I came back from a day trip to find that some of our possessions had been thrown away..I didn't really care too much as it was only a cup & spoon, it was more the way that everyone in the hotel denied it & almost accused us of lying that I felt that the staff don't really care about their guests. The breakfast was very poor.
