OK Stay
The room was spacious and clean, but the bed frame has a footboard, which is uncomfortable for tall guests like myself. The service was good. The breakfast buffet was disappointing at best.

Not a 4 star hotel
- Check-in: the receptionist asked me to deposit $10 if taking back my passport; fine, it's understandable. But when I asked for another key for the second person staying with me, another deposit for $10 requested. - All the hallways have no lights - The Chinese (hotel's most guests) were very noisy in early mornings and late nights - We had to pay for parking, and their explanation is to prevent others outside from taking advantage of free parking at their facility.

Newer hotel
Rooms is small but nice. Newer hotel. Breakfast buffet is so so. Too many Chinese and Rusian tourist, they are so noisy and rude at buffet, but it is not hotel fault. I would stay here again

Didn't stay but pass by, was a noshow.
Didn't get refund within 24 hrs booking, got bad review from family members, asking to cancel within 24 hrs booking, was denied, but pass by to checkout for few minutes , was bad, didn't get well come by front door staffs, look around was broken and out of places of some furnitures, staffs was loud n argued with each others, didn't make a good first impression at all, glad didn't stay there even though I got full non refund cancelation.

Great location for Vietnamese food. Food such as Pho and Mien Ga (chicken soup) are available just outside the hotel.

Affordable 4 stars hotel
I must admit this is a 4 stars hotel with 4 chairs and a table, which makes it very convenient if we call for room service. The price is just $5 more than a good 3 stars hotels. This hotel will remain on my list of hotels.

Hotel is a bit out of the main drag
Hotel was ok, the breakfast buffet was editable but nothing to write home about. The staff can't speak English so it made it a little difficult to communicate. If you can speak Vietnamese it would be better stay. Room was clean but a bit dated.

4 stars my butt.
Short and sweet. Place is not as advertised. Room was covered in hair. Mattress mimics the floor in comfort level, walls had stains. Worst of all, my cousin (who happens to be a female vietnamese national) was allowed in to my room to bring me food. We she told the front desk we were relatives, she told me she brushed her off and said it was hotel policy not to allow women to the room cause she might be a prostitute. But guys are allowed.. She was humiliated by the staff and nowhere on the Orbtiz booking site does it say that I can't have my cousin (who happens to be female) visit me.

Terrible experience, the receptionist demanded to see a marriage certificate & as I did not have one refused to let me and my partner stay. The room was pre booked and fully paid for. When requested to speak to management, my request was met with refusal.

I am very happy with this 4 stars hotel.
My wife and I have made the right choice to stayed in this beautiful 4 stars hotel! The price is very decent as comparing to those other 4 stars hotels which tend to run way more. We are glad to have picked this hotel during our visit in HCMC. The lobby and the hotels doors are all made of solid beautiful expensive woods!!! That is one thing most travelers could not have gone unnoticed! Additionally, the interior of room is designed BEAUTIFULLY in a combination of both Western's and Asian's look. There are no gap in the door so it is a plus for PRIVACY! Furthermore, the staff are very GENEROUS and COURTEOUS: they greet you in English and get the doors for you at any given chance. Lastly, the restaurant is located on the 12th floor and the dining tables and chairs are all made of expensive solid woods---there is an open space sittings for those who wants to enjoy the panoramic view and smoking. The price of dinner buffet is fits right into my budget, but you have to buy the ticket earlier in the morning otherwise it will be sold out!!!!!!!! I highly recommend you to try this hotel once during your stay in HCMC and I am quite sure you won't be disappointed.

Good hotel and location
The hotel is nice and people are helpful. There is a small pool in the rooftop which has a nice view. Breakfast has plenty of options. The rooms are good size only complain was that smelled like mold a little.

Do yourself a favour book a different hotel
The stay was overall disappointing. Apart from the men on the door the staff are not very helpful/friendly. You need to catch a cab to see the attractions. However across the road and down the lane there is a couple of good eating places. The pool is small, there are no towels or chairs. the smell of sewage permeates through the rooms. Overall what could be a beautiful old hotel was probably the most uncomfortable, smelly, unfriendly places we've stayed. Not at all representatives of the warmth and enjoyment experienced at the other hotels we stayed in during our star in Vietnam.

Hotel should not be rated a 4star. Location is not for business nor family. Reception staff was friendly, however the rooms is to be desired for. Breakfast was like military watching you all the time. The BF buffet was stale and very limited. No value for money and should be rated as maybe 2 star with great difficultly. Make sure you get what you paid for!
As a group of six, we made 3 separate bookings for a total of 5 rooms. Upon arrival, the three separate bookings were recognised, however only 3 rooms had been set aside. Not sure if this was an error, or whether they were trying to capitalise by restricting us to 3 rooms. Because there were 3 separate bookings, it is unlikely that they would have made the connection until we all arrived together. They then expected us to share 3 rooms, when 5 rooms had been paid for. After holding our ground, we eventually got our rooms. Breakfast on the top floor was included in the price and was very nice. A bar across the road was a welcome site, as the hotel bar was closed upon arrival. This is an old but pleasant hotel.

Quick stop in HCM City
I thought that this hotel was clean and well-managed. The staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms were a bit dated but generally nice. The location was not the best but all in all, the hotel was not too far from District 1. It was about a 7 minute cab ride from District 1. I think that the price was discounted to make up for the fact that the location wasn't ideal. The neighborhood around the hotel was interesting -- lots of food stalls etc.

Booked this hotel at the last minute after arriving into the country and being dropped at a total dive! Booked in hotels.com for three people although the website only arranged a room with two single beds. When we arrived at the new pacific hotel, the receptionist had no information of our booking and wanted us to pay extra for a third bed despite the fact that we booked for three people (this seems like a hotel.com problem). Apart from this, the room was clean, the water was hot and the breakfast was delicious. The day staff were fabulous and gave us recommendations for things to see and allowed us to stay slightly longer after the late evening!
