“Excellent hotel”
5- star on all accounts. Can't go wrong with this hotel. Breakfast buffet over priced- go elsewhere for breakfast
“Enjoyable stay.”
Great for business travelers. Just like staying in downtown Chicago - in some ways. Reasonable price and good location (close to business sector, nearby parks). Very nice pool so don't forget your bathing suit.
“Helpful staff and great restaurant”
The hotel staff are very responsive and friendly. All with a smile! The hotel restaurant has an amazing buffet; tried breakfast and dinner and highly recommend it!
“Excellent Hotel”
We stayed at this hotel in a club room for 5 nights. The club room is well worth the extra money. The breakfast buffet had a huge western/asian style selection and you get drinks and alcohol most of the day. The hotel staff were wonderful and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. All spoke good english and wanted to assist you in any way possible. The hotel location is great and only 5 minute walk to the Ben Thanh Market. We used the business center and the fitness center which were both included in our rate. Overall a great hotel.

Internet worked. Bar is cozy. Included breakfast was buffet style and very good, including made to order eggs if desired. Hotel staff extremely cordial and nice. Arranged for a tour of Ha Long Bay which was an outstanding one day trip including a delicious seafood lunch on board the wooden tour boat.
“Nice place”
The hotel staff was kind and helpful. The services including the buffet breakfast were great. The porter would communicate with taxi drivers to make sure you got to your destination. My only critique is that the rooms are starting to show their age--chairs, tables and desk in the room were a bit scuffed up and worn. Otherwise no complaints.

“Very Impressed”
We just got back from New World. I would have to recommend this hotel to friends. Like others have pointed out, spend the extra for the executive lounge. The benefit of a smaller breakfast sitting and access to the lounge were excellent. After a day of shopping it was very nice to go to the lounge, grab a drink and relax. The view from the lounge deck was good too. The rooms are nice, nothing special, but the bathrooms are a little dated, nothing to really complain about though. There was free wifi in lounge but not the rooms. Location wise, we found this to be very good. We stayed at the Sofitel Plaza as well, but found New World to be so much easier to get to the markets and the shops nearby. The pool area was very good too, with plenty of lounges. There was also the pool bar which was good but expensive compared to the prices outside of the hotel. The other plus is an ATM located in the lobby, so you can get money out before leaving the hotel.
