A very serene and lovely property, boat service was such a nice opportunity with our very young grandsons. The restaurant is perched right by the riverside with lots of comfortable and fashionable seating. Fun happy hour. Swimming pool is large and perfect temperature. I love the little community surrounding the area with every kind of food you could ask for and great market

Riverside has everything you need. I love the location on the river, it's quiet. Great pool. Restaurant is delicious and there is also a coffee shop . There is also place to do laundry.

Riverside was great. Perfect place for young kids. We were there with our grandson and his parents. The staff was fabulous, so friendly. We had a great time. We took the boat ride to and from district one.

The apartments at Riverside where spacious for my husband and I and our group all where about to be accommodated here. The apartment was serviced each day, we had breakfast at the restaurant there and the atmosphere was great - situated on the river. There is an amenities store and a great coffee shop and we could walk to the wedding venue if we chose. There where Taxis there to take us anywhere but also free shuttle and boat into District 1

The ability to have an apartment so 2 families could be together rather than in separate hotel rooms. Also had a pool for the kids to relax in. restaurant, cafe, free laundry and mini market. Made it very convenient. I also appreciated being to stay for the afternoon for a small fee as we had a late flight

Have stayed here with Riverside Service Apartments several times now and I will continue to return. The apartment is spacious, in a great location and accommodates family needs, such as laundry services and a convenience store on the property. Staff are helpful, friendly and available at all hours. Cleaning service happens daily and the staff are friendly, non-intrusive and efficient. The only gripe that I have is that Mai Linh taxis are used on the property and they are not reputable. I have actually been severely overcharged by them; avoid using their service.

The house keeping was awesome, but the laundry staff was very rude. We also called for taxi 3 times and the reception kept telling us it is coming, when it wasn't. So ended up waiting almost an hour for a single cab. Their english isn't that great. Also, the reception almost forgot to give me the deposit back.

Regarding the taxi, we are not responsible for the taxi company, they have a supervisor on the spot who manages the cars and requests at the door. He/she is informed of every single request. (This is the best company you can find in Vietnam). But, I am also sorry that you had to wait so much, this is something that can happen when it is rainy and at the peak time, it can become really challenging to get a taxi quickly. I am going to send your feedback to the taxi company to let them know about this unacceptable waiting. Great week stay.
Staff were friendly and helpful whenever we asked questions. Most spoke at least broken English which was helpful. Pool was fantastic. Restaurant was very good but a bit pricey for Vietnam. Room was cleaned everyday and cleaner was lovely, so polite. Mattress was only complaint, very hard low quality. Overall we loved the stay, quiet beautiful location. Free water taxi was excellent.

Calm and peaceful
The area is clean and tidy, staff is extremely friendly and speaks very good English (French as well). The free shuttle to the city center is very convenient. For my husband and I it was an amazingly restful few days after many adventures in Vietnam. We absolutely enjoyed the peace and smooth running of the place. The food at the cafe and restaurant is overpriced (western food only), but there is some food just outside the place and quite a few restaurants within 15-20mins walk.

It’s nice and quiet for relaxing but bit far from everything unless take a hotel bus or boat to town. The outlet plug in the room are all different so bring a charger converted plug. When we check in at night no one help us with the luggage to the room and also checking out they saw us dragging all the luggage under the sun and no one offered any assistance they just drove away, we didn’t like the staff service at front desk.

This apartment complex caters mostly to ex-pats who are working in Vietnam on assignment. We stayed there for the last four days of our vacation (following a 10 day Vietnam tour). So, it was a little different for us, but the complex is very professionally run and managed. It was very clean, both inside the apartments and outside around the grounds. They have a nice laundry facility (free to use), a decent gym, convenience store, coffee shop, pool, and restaurant on the premises. We were very comfortable. Staying here put us outside of District 1 / downtown Saigon, but they also have a free bus and boat service to take you to District 1, so that was a very nice bonus. They offer a quite a lot for the price, and we were quite satisfied.

Timing is everything
I only stayed 1 night here. Not because it wasn't comfortable but only because it was my last night in Vietnam and i wanted a nicer and larger room with a kitchen. It was a nice place, a little outdated (still need to use a power converter), but large and for the most part quiet. The property is large with gated security. Tennis courts and lawn you can actually walk on (a rarity in VN). The pool is quite a bit smaller than in the pictures but I didn't go swimming so that wasn't an issue. The view from the lawn is very nice for Saigon. The first issue I had with this place is that it is hard to find. Perhaps that's why it's so peaceful. The second is that their on site pantry didn't have simple things like black pepper. The third, last and most disappointing, was that the room wasn't ready when we got there. Check in for this property is 2 PM and I got there at 3 and even let them know I was getting there at three. I don't like to wait... especially after going to such detail as to when I would be arriving and it being after standard check in. When someone says after a long flight "sit down for 30 min", it's not professional and was extremely disappointing. If I was going to stay at this property again it would be for multiple days and if they pulled a stunt like making me wait again I would not recommend this property.

Superb accommodation for a longer stay.
This was my third visit to HCMC but my first time at Riverside Apartments - my only regret is not trying the place earlier! The location is in District 2 and while the taxi drivers sometimes have a problem finding it, it is worth the wait and is within easy reach of the central HCMS, District 1. In any case, once settled in, the resort has a scheduled boat and bus service to both shopping facilities or to the centre of HCMC by river. Taxi transfer to/from the airport is 15USD. There is a 24 hr taxi rank within the facility with many coffee shops and restaurants just a short walk away. This is an apart-hotel situated right on the Saigon River with beautiful gardens, sports facilities, a swimming pool, tennis courts, gym and apartments that, while aging somewhat, are very clean and well maintained with a basic supply of crockery depending on room size (1-2 bedroom available). Many of the apartments are long term leases, often to expatriates assigned to HCMC, so there is quite a family friendly feel to the place which also has a mini market, coffee shop, spa and public laundry area increasing the community feel of the facility. Staff cannot be helpful enough and go out of their way to please. The only issue I had to work around was that they were fairly strict about the timing of departures but had a luggage storage facility to help out. With a full service restaurant on site, the facility is largely self contained and very secure - great for a longer stay.

A relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle
These apartments are located in District 2 but free scheduled transport is available into the heart of District 1, either by van or boat. The accommodation is set in park like grounds that are very well maintained. The apartments are roomy, well laid out and comfortable. The pool, gym and other recreation facilities are very good. Guest laundry facilities are adequate. The dining options are a bit limited on site or nearby, with one full restaurant located on site. But the apartments have sufficient kitchen facilities if you want to do your own thing. Supermarkets are only a 40,000d taxi fare away.

Great view by Saigon river
The Riverside apartment that I stay was nice and peaceful ambience. The apartment is good enough for 4 adults. Everything is clean and neat. Service was great overall. Minimart provide sufficient items that you need urgently. There are free bus or boat ride that brings you to few places in the city. The taxi is always available in the apartment if you need to go somewhere outside the service provided by the Riverside management. Although the location takes about 20 mins ride to town, I do find the place is relax and quiet. You dont hear the noise of traffic moving around like those in hotel or place you stay in the city. The restaurant also provide good food for your needs. Overall I feel a good holiday vacation.

Great apartment away from hustle & bustle
Only a couple of downsides to this place, upon arrival was not clear where to go to check in, then they retain your passport until you return the keys at check out. The boat and bus into town are a great bonus, but the boat schedule is only 3 times per day, 8am, then twice in the evening. The apartment was huge, with everything that I needed and a free to use laundry room next to mini market. Food in the restaurant was amazing and sitting by the river in the evening to eat was a nice wind down after the hectic city and trying to cross roads on crazy traffic.

Our first visit to Vietnam. Staying here allowed us the view of the river, a pool for the kids and loads of space in our rooms. It was an easy bus trip into the city or taxi ride. The speed boats river tours even picked ud up at the jetty. Food at the restaraunt was 5 star!

If U want more, chose the Riverside
Really loved being on the river and out of the noise and hussle of the city. The boat and bus options were easy and enjoyable. The 2 bedroom apt was awesome for privacy when we were tired from 24 hr flights. We were two single women and had a bedroom and bath. We also loved the kitchen for breakfast in our pajamas. Very quiet and helpful staff. I left a bag there went off to Cambodia and am returning for my last 2 nights before flying back to the states.

Do not expect good service
1. Over-regulated check-in process without kind welcome. 2. This so called 4 star place was unable to provide a hairdrier during our five-day stay. We had to bother fellow guests to borrow it from their apartments. 3. Imagine a "relaxing" massage at the spa where the small kids of the masseur are running all around you during the massage, and the masseur would stop several times trying to put the smallest one to sleep. After this special treatment you are required to pay a compulsory tip for the masseur (in our case the amount of a minimum tip was around 35% of the fee for a 50 minutes massage).

Great for families with young kids.
Perfect for families. Plenty of amenities, in a nice quiet area of town serviced by free shuttle bus, free river boat service and also taxi. And has a mini supermarket, bakery, ATM, and great restaurant.

It's far from the city but in a quiet area. Very nice! And they have a free bus and boat !
