“Top Notch Hotel”

Well situated in District 1 of HCMC. The hotel is immaculate & staff are just about falling over to help you. At any one time there are between 3 & 5 staff opening & closing the entrance doors. The Consierge service was second to none & anything you asked for was done yesterday, as it were. The hotel has an executive lounge on th 18th floor which is available at additional cost & there are finger buffet snacks & free drinks available such as soft drinks, wine, beer, brandy - Hennessy VS - etc througout the day until about 10.00pm. The hotel has 2 really good restaurants. One is an a la carte high quality French restaurant & the other is a dinner buffet style restaurant with about 40 to 50+ different dishes. There is a chef on hand to cook your selected seafood such as lobster, tiger prawns, blue crab, yellow fin tuna & loads of other stuff such as prime steak or lamb etc. There is a full range of Sushi & there are so many other dishes as well, including some Vietnamese food (of course) & you are simply spoiled for choice. If you take the executive lounge package it also includes breakfast which is an extensive buffet including an omlette station chef cokking anything you want. The bread in Vietnam is delicious French baguettes & other types which is a nice classy left over from the period of French occupation. I could not fault this hotel in any way & the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on.

Very satisfied by the service and quality of the Sofitel Saigon, it was our anniversary and the hotel delivered a cake and chocolates to our room, We would recommend taking advantage or upgrading to the 18th floor club lounge as the service of the staff and the quality of the food etc is exceptional. We were more than happy with our stay and will definatley consider stayinig there again when next in Saigon,if expedia is able to offer a good rate

This property is very well appointed, multi-lingual staff, quiet and close to many cultural and shopping activities. The restaurants are outstanding and have interesteing events like "Chesse" tastings every week end. Staff members take an interest in making your stay for business or pleasure memorable.

The hotel is truly perfect - great location, amazing club level rooms, beautiful building, helpful concierge. truly luxurious experience anywhere in the world, and felt particularly luxurious in hanoi. the only minor comment is about the friendliness of the breakfast staff - for some reason they seemed a bit grumpy. but overall, a 5 star experience. thank you

“Saigon Sofitel”

I found the hotel to be very comfortable and quiet. I would stay here again. The rooftop swimming pool was a real bonus, and the constant air movement helped with 38C weather.
