Don’t bother
Terrible hotel. The water from the taps is yellow, the hotel is old and the rooms and run down. Went for breakfast at 09:20 everything was gone and they were tidying up and ignoring us, not even a coffee was available. Don’t brother the aristo Saigon hotel 1 min away was amazing.

Staffs are very friendly. Business center is useful. You can print boarding passes for airline online checkins. Breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of varieties. Very convenient location.

Not Good at all, very old fashion and very thing need pay, swimming pool,extra pillow, very poor air cond supplies(not cool at all) allways need to complient to check air cond...not to recommend to anyone.

Good location and cheap price, but really noisy
Nice location in quiet district 3 although not main attraction located area, still many lovely and cheap restaurants nearby, also close to war museum and palace. Swimming pool need a fee, that’s weird. Good breakfast with lots of choice including delicious pho and local snacks. Close to airport bus stop with only 1-2mins walk( crossing one road opposite). But one big bad point for this hotel, it is very noisy inside. Hotel pool opened to public and my room is on 5/F , can hear very loud and clear noise from people at pool on 6/F, also noise from nest door. Air conditioner is noisy. My family and I can hardly sleep during our stay. It’s true, very noisy, not just some noise.

Betty on reception could not have been more helpful, checking us in from the comfort of a lounge suite in reception, confirming our onward plans, organizing tours. The room was clean and tidy, but not amazing, but the location good, and service and eagerness to please was fantastic. Excellent value for money.

Older hotel but good for value and location.
Our third visit to this older, traditional Vietnamese hotel and the staff were very friendly and professional, as always. Particular thanks to the lovely lady who manages the Business Centre as she was exceptionally helpful in solving a computer/banking glitch! We’ll definitely base ourselves there again as it is on the direct bus line from the airport and almost halfway between the Colonial monuments/modern city centre and the backpacker area and its nightlife and cheap eateries.

Rooms are great, everything else is average
We managed to book a few nights at the Victory when our last booking fell through. Their '24 hour reception' consists of a night manager who literally sleeps behind the reception counter. After putting us in a twin room (when we asked for a double) and us waking him up for a second time, he finally got us our room. It was alright. The 'free breakfast' is really not worth it. The pool charges 60,000 dong per visit - which, in spite of being very cheap, is also not worth it.

Bad service, very poorly ran hotel!
Evening check in at Saigon Victory Hotel. Got Ignorant service upon checking into the hotel. I was very unhappy with this feeling from the get go. Made my stay feel very unwelcome. Had to pay extra to use the pool and pay extra to use the small gym equipment. Poor taste there as it is already part of the hotel and not ran by a third party. Room size was as expected. Ok amenities, with good Dove soap to use for showering. Buffet Breakfast was filling... but only average compared to another hotels in the area. Would not recommend this hotel. Very unhappy experience overall. Will NOT be back.

Victory hotel is an adequate accommodation venue
Reception staff not the most helpful. But all other staff friendly and helpful. Location ok but no convience stores close by. But it was not a big issues. Booked 5 tours through the hotel and all were on time and professional in their conduct. Would highly recommend using the hotel tour booking desk.

Roomy. Size of room generous. Location is great. Next to Independence Palace. And within walking distance to City centre. I must correct the exaggeration by other travellers about having to pay a lot to use pool. Actually is only 60,000 Dong or $4 US. Pay as you use is good for all travellers. And is not excessive.

had to pay a small fortune to use the swimming pool. I can't believe this isn't mentioned on the booking page ....unfortunately everything is an extra at this hotel so be warned !!!!!
