“Grand hotel”

The hotel suited our needs perfectly. We wanted a stopover in Hobart before going to Port Arthur. There was myself, wife and 15 year old daughter and the two room accommodations was just right. We had an evening and a day and it was great to stay in such a grand hotel close to everything we wanted.

“Pleased with the Lenna”

This was the one of the best hotels we have stayed at. It is very comfortable and has a homely feel to it. They even provide real fresh milk for your tea instead of plastic pots. And superb views over Hobart harbour. Meal in dining room was good if a bit pricey. Free internet access in the bar (but you have to wait for the computer to be free).We wanted to stay again at the end of our week, but it was booked up.

“Truly memorable hotel”

Our room has just been refurbished and looked out over Hobart Harbour. It was a truly memorable place not only because of its history but also for its comfort. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Great location -- especially on Saturdays.”

This is an elegant old hotel in a fantastic location. About 3 mins walk from the Salamanca Market (held on Saturdays) but also very near the harbor, Battery Park area, galleries and coffee shops.

“Perfect location”

One review that almost put me off booking was that it was cold and draughty. Well, it was outside the room but this was part of its charm as the accommodation block is built on an 'open' plan. Inside, our room had a lovely view of Mount Wellington, was quite spacious, very quiet and cosy warm. However my husband and I like fresh air in our room overnight and it was wonderful to be in an hotel where we could open the windows. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I had two special requests whilst there and they responded immediately and in a most pleasant way. The location couldn't have been better, being only half a block from Salamanca Place with all its wonderful restaurants and bars. We're looking forward to a return visit to Lenna's.

“Fantastic experience”

Hotel was lovely just what we wanted, really loved having the laundry right next to our room, it was so handy. Great location.

“Would definitely stay there again”

Room was excellent with a view, it was also large and comfortable. Lots of ambience. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was also good. Just a short walk to Salamanca Place and any number of restaurants. Parking also available. Would recommend.

“"Old fashioned" in the good sense”

Lots of character, great location, good bar with food and working internet connection (also worked in the rooms but free in the bar!).

“Breakfast in bed!”

Beatiful old building, rarge luxourius rooms, great bar and restaurant (make sure you make a booking). Breakfast in bed was the highlight!

“Would recommend”

Fabulous hotel. We stayed there in November 2011. Fantastic location, close to Battery Point, Salamanca Place and Sullivans Cove Waterfront. Room was spacious with spectacular views of the harbour. Staff very friendly. Plenty of parking. Would recommend.
