Great place, close to marketPosted May 6, 2014
Pros: Close to Salamanca Market which was the main reason for our stay. Pretty location close to the harbour.
Cons: More TV channels
Location: Within walking distance of the market, the harbour, shops and restaurants. Plenty to fill in a day without even having to drive anywhere.
Hotel was in a great location, just a few steps from Salamanca Market and several good restaurants. Our apartment was very good, quiet, beds comfortable, off-street parking, plenty of tea and coffee! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Breakfast at Lenna's opposite was also good.

Great location in SalamancaPosted Apr 22, 2014
Pros: Hotel was everything we needed, clean, comfortable, all the facilities needed and made the experience good as it was so conveniently located.
Cons: Although all that you need could do with a little update in styling but not necessary really.
Location: Best location for sightseeing around Hobart and Salamanca area without needing a car.
Had a great few days exploring all things art in Salamanca, Hobart. The HobArt Walk was fantastic, ferry trip to MONA, Salamanca Market and all the lovely art galleries and shops in the main area. People are so friendly in Hobart.

Spacious penthouse in heart of SalamancaPosted Apr 8, 2014
No noise from neighbours in the hotel but a fair bit of noise from the restaurants downstairs, particularly with bottles being emptied into bins at 11:30pm and again at 6:30am with bins being emptied. Management tried to charge us for mini bar usage but we didn't use any of the mini bar products. On check we were told that we consumed one bottle of water but we didn't and upon arriving home we found a charge against our credit card for $12.00 for lemonade and beer which we didn't use. This was subsequently credited back to our account after two phone calls to them. Debiting to our account was effective within one day but re-crediting took 3 days. Staff pleasant and apartment in good condition.

Hobart StayPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: So central to all the facilities
Cons: Need Airconditioning installation
Location: Galleries, Cafes, Bars etc
Salamanca Terraces centrally located - we had a studio apartment for 2 nights - the apartment can get very stuffy and the weather was not warm 20 degrees and we had to put the small portable air con on at night time which was quite noisey. Airconditioning should be installed but other than that it was a nice stay and situated in walking distance to all the restaurants and bars and cafes.

Great location! Very spacious.Posted Jan 11, 2014
This is great hotel. 5 star location for a three star price. We had a two bed room apartment with plenty of room for a family of 5. It was very clean, tidy and in very good condition. It also had a bath which is always a bonus for us. For those who have commented that they felt like the poor cousins to the Lenna hotel (where reception is located), given the price difference that would seem reasonable. This hotel was definatley value for money for us. Any other option in this location is considerably more expensive.

$490 for what we got was not value for money.Posted Jan 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room walking area was very cramped and was not as projected in the brochure.I was expecting room to move for $490 per night. We arrived at 3pm (check in was stated as 1pm) and had to wait another 30 mins. to check-in after a long drive. Instead of offering us a cold drink the reception directed us to the bar where I paid $14 for 4 soft drinks. My husband and I have done several world trips and stayed in 100's of hotels/ motels. This accomodation was dissappointing in many aspects and we will not stay there again. It was not an apartment but two rooms adjoined.
