Abit far away from the city

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Nice and calm environment
Cons: Some guest are just too noisy
Location: Go to the city, join a tour or something.
Nice place if you rent your own car. Coles and Kmart about 5 minutes drive away. Not many places to eat in the area, head to the city for FOOD !

the motel does not face the river the suburb is dodgey. there was dirty socks as we entered our room, hair on the bathroom floor and an old hair scrunchy left in the shower.

Nice view, but you get what you paid for.

The pics and description made the room seem it would be bigger. Community Kitchen needs an oven. Friendly and efficient cleaning staff. Price was well in our budget, overall we had a good stay.

Cheap hotel,just outside Hobart city

Posted Apr 30, 2014
Location: Hotel is located in residential area. Didn't appear to be much to do in the area.
The overall condition of the hotel was good. They were in the process of doing some maintenance work. The walls dividing rooms are thin and I was able to hear people in adjoining rooms. I had a pipe running vertically through my room which I think was linked to the fire place in reception. As a result, I was often woken up in the early morning by the sound of the heating starting up. The room was often very cold in the morning or evening, when I returned from being out. I wouldn't recommend staying in Winter, as I am not confident of how warm it would be. Otherwise, the room was clean and pleasant to stay in. Hotel is good distance from Hobart, but you would definitely need a car while staying here.

See the canal from the room

Posted Apr 11, 2014
Location: wakeup in the morning, walk near the water
Nice stay near to the canal with an outdoor swimming pool and plenty of wild goose in the water. Fully equip room (kettle, toaster, microwave incl), enough space for double and a large bathroom. Rather far from the city, but nice if u have car.

Nice hotel but a little out of town

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: small but seems to need refurbishing.
Cons: With a new block of units going up next door will improve the area and motel
Location: situated on the bay but not much going on the water. city is around 8 km away.
situated on the bay, with a bus service available but taxis very good if bot a little expensive. Shops 10 mins walk away.

Okay for one night

Posted Mar 2, 2014
The room was reasonably clean, quite small but affordable. We only stayed for one night on our way through Hobart, it was suitable for this purpose but I wouldn't want to stay there for a week.
