Wrest Point Casino is a great place to stay in Hobart. The tower offers great views and we chose a suite on the 10th floor.

Great place to visit, we travelled over 1500 kilometeres and still didn't see all that we wanted to. We will definately be back.

Enjoyed hotel stay, the room and premises were clean and pleasant, the staff reception, restaurants, breakfast room all carried out their duties efficiently and the amenities were excellent. I shall be returning to Hobart for future visits and shall stay at the Hotel as it truely met my expectations.

“Worthwhile stay at the hotel”

Overall, the surrounding of the hotel is clean and has friendly service. The desserts I've tried at Pier one is excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Clean but small”

Of all the rooms we stayed in on our Australian trip, this was the smallest, most uncomfortable bed and the most expensive. Good thing there was a single bed in addition to the queen size bed, as the mattress was so soft on the queen that we rolled to the center all night. I took the twin the next night and finally got a good night's sleep. Guess you are paying for the bay front location. We had a rental car, so wanted a hotel with free parking, which this one had, so it worked good for us, but it's not very close to downtown Hobart and the sites there. Even had free valet parking, which was great service. Meals in the hotel were expensive, so we only ate there once. Bathroom was very tiny, also. We took advantage of the guest coin operated laundry, which was a definite plus - saved us a bunch by not having to send it out.

I've been travelling to many places aboard and in Australia. The Wrest Point Hotel is the worst ever. I certainly wouldn't recommend any of you to go for this hotel as believe even 3 stars hotel would be even better. Since we got of the car, the porter at the front gate saw my wife was carrying full of travelling bags and luggages, but didn't even offer a help rather asking standed and watched then say "Are you ok?". A receptionist (old man) has given us very bad attitude and we feel like were discriminated. The service Room is full of dust, looked clean but wasn't. The only good thing would be the view in the room, and that's it.
