Do not stay here.....Posted Mar 25, 2013
Cons: the staff were all incredibly rude
Location: central Hockenheim, sadly only 2 restaurants in town open the Sat eve we stayed. Grimy car park with poor lights and groups of teenagers loitering.
The hotel car park was difficult to find on arrival and when we parked up and ran to the hotel to verify where we could park the receptionist looked at us as if we were aliens and total imbiciles for not finding it ourselves. There was no welcome at all, we were made to feel that we were an inrusion to their evening for asking questions. The room was set up as a twin despite us clearly booking a double. The pillows were an absoulute disgrace for a 3 star hotel, no filling whatsoever in them. Having walked around the town to stretch our legs after a 7 hour drive we found relatively few restaurants open so decided to return to the hotel and eat there. There was a restaurant advertised on the website but on returnig to the hotel we were informed by the rude male and female receptionists that there was no restaurant nor any room service available. They then proceeded to leave the reception desk and stand at the front door smoking a cigarette. We were speechless! terrible terrible experience and we will never go back

Clean hotelPosted Sep 24, 2012 on Hotels.com
Clean neat hotel in a nice area . Across the street from some sort of playground/school so lots of kids ,rather loud in the morning . 5-10 minute walk to find food . Not much around to do . If looking for night life this is not your place . To quiet for us.

Ramada Hotel HockenheimPosted Dec 10, 2011 on Hotels.com
We only stayed for one night and arrived quite late. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, check-in was quick, room was clean and beds really comfortable. Only the bells of the church are really annoying and ectremely loud!

Decent hotel for a quick stop but not for a home base for traveling.Posted Aug 12, 2009
Hotel was decent but is located right next to two churches. The bells chime most of the day and up until 10:00pm and sound like they are literally in your room. No air conditioning in room and it gets very stuffy. Staff kept keying into the room on the day of departure starting at 7:30am without even knocking. Between 7:30am and 9:00am they keyed themselves in 4 times to clean the room. Room was decent for a quick stop on the way to Heidelberg but would not recommend staying there for your entire trip.
