Adequate breakfast bar but boring after 5 daysPosted May 28, 2014
Cons: Breakfast offering

Liked the place very well located. Very nice little restaurant oppositite Mrs Ha over the road offers excellent and cheap laundry. Good bus service into main township. Taxis plentiful and cheap.

Lovely peaceful riverside retreatPosted May 8, 2014
Pros: Calm atmosphere, river views, pool, nearness to town and beach, with free buses to both
Cons: Receptionist friendliness
Location: Beautiful spot right on the riverbank but with no mosquitos. No entertainment nearby so not suitable for people needing entertainments.
10 days of relaxation in a lovely clean well-managed hotel; perfect for families or groups. Good food, lovely gardens, plenty of interesting places to visit, nice beaches, good restaurants in walking distance.

Lovely Riverside HotelPosted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: Hotel minibus service offered free transport into Hoi An and to their own beach several times a day.
Cons: Getting rid of the morning wake up call!
Great location and Hotel, one drawback being woken at 05:00 by loud music and voices being transmitted by tannoy from the opposite side of the river. This continued until 06:30 both mornings. We did mention this to reception staff, nothing they can do as it is a wake up service for the local farmers broadcast by the Communist Party. However guests in rooms away from the river did not hear this.

GREAT RIVERSIDE LOCATIONPosted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: ROOM, LOCATION, POOL.
ENJOYED A SIX NIGHT STAY AT RIVERSIDE HOIAN. GREAT LOCATION OVERLOOKING RIVERSIDE AND RICE PADDIES. GOOD SIZED ROOM AND B/F. SITUATED NEARER THE BEACH BUT MADE USE DAILY OF THE FREE SHUTTLE BUS INTO HOIAN TOWN, ONLY 10 MINS. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND WOULD LOVE TO RETURN.

nice resort with unfriendly staffPosted Jan 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed in the Riverside with 3 kids in January and found the location at the river and the condition of the resort quite nice also the pool is really nice. The rooms are big and clean with everything you need. On the other hand the restaurant and food quality is definetely under expectation. The staff is unmotivated and partially really unfriendly. The breakfast is "soso" and we recommend not having lunch/dinner there. The quality and portions are quite poor. We remain all hungry after having a full meal ending with the worst banana split ever.

Hotel StayPosted Jan 8, 2014
Pros: Nothing in particular.
Cons: The entire hotel needs to be refurbished against the backdrop of it's 4 star rating. Definitely the breakfast dinning experience needs attention.
Location: Location is satisfactory nothing to shout about.
This is not the experience one would expect from a 4 star hotel in terms of international standards. The hotel overall was OK but for the price and facilities it fails. The hotel is essentially "tired". and desperately needs a refurbishment. The staff need to be more efficient and friendly in their approach to the customer. They need to promote the local tours more aggressively as no one offered us anything in terms of tours or what can be done in the area.

Nice hotel between beach and townPosted Jan 6, 2014
Nice hotel within walking distance of the beach but you need a bike or taxi to get into town, the hotel provides a shuttle bus but not that frequently. The rooms are nice, dark wood floors and spacious bathrooms. The ones that look out over the river have a lovely view, ones nearer to the road would be noisy. There is a nice pool, billiards room and breakfast is served overlooking the river and paddy fields beyond. There is an excellent laundry service across the road where you can also book trips, and hire bikes.

Tropical OasisPosted Jan 2, 2014
Pros: Tropical oasis feeling.
Cons: Hot water tank system could be improved as showers had to be quick.
Location: A lovely situated hotel half way between the Old town of Hoi An and the beach. Regular shuttles into Old Town and only a 15 minute walk to the beach.
Thoroughly recommend. Great value for money. A pleasant beautiful stay.

Friendly and helpful staff, but that is about all.Posted Dec 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is somewhat run down, mould and mildew in bathrooms, noisy around room entrances and breakfast mediocre. Supper was disappointing and over priced. But, the staff was very good.

Relaxation +Posted Oct 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
A wonderful place to stay. Quiet location on the river. 40min walk into town. There is a shuttle but does not run frequently enough. Also a shuttle to the beach. Room overlooking the river was tranquil. Good choice for breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.
