“Best in Hoi An”

Lay out of the room is a bit odd. It's very spacious but most rooms, including ours, face onto a shared balcony that is also the main passageway to rooms. As a result, there is much less privacy than is typical at a hotel of comparable quality. The pool area is exceptionally nice and the free use of bicycles is very convenient. Life Resort is not perfect but, from what I saw, it is the best choice in Hoi An. We considered staying on the beach. I'm glad we didn't. Although there are nicer hotels on the beach, the convenience of Life Resort to town makes it by far the better choice for tourists. For someone looking primarily to swim or to lie on the beach, a different choice would make sense.

“Very nice resort”

I was very impressed with Life Heritage Resort. The room was lovely and clean and well equipped and very clean. The restaurant, Sense, was a bit pricey, but the food was lovely and the staff there were very nice. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of fresh fruit. The resort was in a good location and had a really nice, calming ambience. You can only get a river view at the restaurant if you are a couple which is a bit odd, but didn't spoil it for us. I wouldn't bother paying extra for a river view to be honest, I had the pool view which was fine. It was nice sitting by the pool, one day we found it a bit tricky to get a sunbed but that must have just been a busy day as after that it was fine. They have balconies with a sofa on it, but I would recommend going by the pool rather than sitting outside your room. My parents enjoyed a massage at the spa. We took their bikes which are free of charge and cycled to the beach which is about 15-20 minutes away (its flat so not a hard cycle).

“Nice place to stay in Hoi An”

We stayed 3 nights in Hoi An and enjoyed our visit. The hotel is in a great location, within an easy walk to town and with reliable laundry service nearby. Breakfast buffet was good and we ate lunch in the cafe when we arrived and that was quite good. Wish we could have used the pool but it was cool and rainy when we were there. We booked a riverside room (second floor) and while we enjoyed the view I would have been just as happy (I think) with a garden room. However I don't think I would have liked being on the first floor. The bed was comfortable (the most comfortable we have had so far) but you can hear people as they walk by because the outside corridor is in front of the room so there isn't as much privacy as one might like. The hotel arranged a taxi for us to go to My Son and that was really worth the trip. Overall a nice hotel and icing on the cake for my husband - they gave him a cake and flowers on his birthday which was a nice touch!

“Don't waste your money on a riverside view!”

We booked a river view room paying considerably more. Unfortunately we had to keep the blinds drawn whilst we were in the room as there was a walkway to the pool right outside! This made the room dark and morbid.
