Nice enough place, far from beach and townPosted May 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff at this hotel were friendly, and the beds/rooms were comfortable. The only problem for us was the hotel was a bit far out of town and not near many restaurants. It is closer to the beach which was nice, but you will need to use one of their bikes to get there.

Cons: Rooms in need of refurbishment. Small swimming pool

Excellent staff. Bikes free to use - great. Superb restaurant facing hotel.

Little improvements would go a long way.Posted Apr 1, 2013
Pros: Great view up and down the river.
Cons: River view room noise early morning
Location: Midway between beaches and Hoi An town.
This hotel is ok but with a bit of updating in the bathroom and pool area could be better. The wifi is a bit hit and miss but that was normal for a few hotels we stayed in. The rooms were large and airy. Word of warning the river view rooms were very noisy from 5.00 am onwards as the rooms face the road also the use of the horn on cars and scooters is constant. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus was an added bonus but could do with a later run at night as 9.30 is a bit to early to finish your night. Having said that a taxi is only £2 approx.( 60,000 dong ) The bikes are a joke, hire one from elsewhere. Mine had a bent pedal and brake cable snapped luckily it was in the countryside when it happened.

Nice location out of townPosted Nov 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
I spent one week in the hotel and it paid off that I had rented a motorbike for the whole time as it gave me flexibility to visit Hoi An or the beach. Breakfast was not overwhelming - and items on the buffet were mostly not fresh and/or were not replenished. Service was mixed, not unfriendly but also not very efficient. I had an issue with a bad smell in my room. They offered me another room - and I found out that the strange smell emanated from the bed linen (in all rooms). Another issue were the protruding wooden bed frames. Even weeks later my shins still hurt from the many times I hit myself there...

Vers nice hotel, a bit far from the cityPosted Aug 31, 2012 on Hotels.com
Very nice hotel, with beautiful surroundings next to the river. Our toilet door was broken, but it was fixed as soon as we pointed it out. Helpful staff, who spoke english very well. It was a bit far from "downtown" Hoi An, but there was a free shuttle bus and you could borrow bicycles. Also, a taxi was about 50.000 dong (2-3 $). Plus it was closer to the beach than the hotels in the city. Definitely recommended from here.

Very nice and comfortable hotel next to the beachPosted Feb 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel is located next to the beach (about 5 minutes by bike - free service) and the surrounding is beautiful. To town centre you can also go by bike in about 15 minutes or with free shuttle bus from the hotel. Very nice and clean rooms. Breakfast buffet is served on the roof terrace.

Phuoc An River HotelPosted Jul 22, 2011 on Hotels.com
Very nice place to stay by the river. Staff were good. Room was clean and comfortable. The only problem for us really was that it was a fair distance from the old city of Hoi An. They did have a free bus ride into the old town but their times were not always convenient to our needs. In the heat and humidity it really was too far for walking!

Free Bikes are a plusPosted Nov 3, 2010
Hotel itself was great, new. Breakfast was fantastic, rooms clean and bigger than what you would expect for the price. Use of the free bikes made the stay that much better, as they provided easy access to the beach and the town. The hotel is halfway between the beach and Hoi An town. The only downside of this place is that they try wicked hard to sell you tours and it gets annoying.
