Excellent hotel, in a convenient location
Posted Jan 23, 2012
Pros: Location, free wifi, breakfast in the morning, cleanliness, large rooms
Location: Located near the main tourist area of Hoi An, close to restaurants, bars, tailors, shops, etc.
I found this to be a beautiful hotel. Very clean, lovely interior, good breakfast, and in close proximity to the main tourist district. Also in excellent proximity to restaurants, bars, etc. Staff were very helpful, laundry was reasonably priced - overall, very nice hotel, given the price. I also loved the fact that I had a balcony!

The room was really nice with a lovely balcony over the pool-area. I think that the hotel-staff should think a little more about their customer service. They seemed very indifferent to their guests. The two mornings we ate breakfast there, there were three to four staff members who went around and looked very grumpy, which was not just a little smile from some of them. I think it really was too bad. Breakfast was also disappointing, even there it would help if they just did a little more for it. example, some fresh bread, juice, butter which was not completely melted, their accessories were generally not very appetizing. If they do something in these areas, then it could be a really nice hotel because they have the potential for it with the facilities.

This hotel is just ok but I wouldn't stay again

Pros: Location
Cons: Comfort & security
Location: Great - a few minutes walk into the old town. Surrounded by spas & eating places.
Impressive at first glance, but once you actually look you start to see that it has been run down. Beds are very hard, our room didn't lock properly & had no safe, The room was quite noisy as the back glass doors opened onto the staircase - also not very private. No shower curtain & very low water pressure in shower, Towels were very old & thin. Cleaning not very good - they made the beds but didn't seem to do much else. Breakfast a bit hit & miss - some days there was juice & bacon, other days not. Staff ok but nowhere near as friendly as other places we stayed. The location is great, and the hotel has lots of timber & marble. It could be a really nice place to stay if they spent a few dollars & tried a bit harder. As it was it was just ok - I would try somewhere else next time.

This hotel is near everythinbg...all within walking distance. You can shop until you drop...and get lovely shoes made over night! It was nice to ind shops which employed handicapped individuals who made fine products. Plus the Streets Cafe was super...be sure to stop in for a great meal and meet Neil the owner.

Three star Hotel nothing more
Posted Jan 19, 2011
Location: All of Hoi An is beautiful and it is up to the individual traveller as to what level of luxury the want to stay. My friends and I usually stay at 3 star hotels, and only request they be clean and functional.
Wen we arrived my twfriend and I were shown to a very small room with 2 beds, after having booked a family room. It wasn't until I queried the room I was informed the hotel had been flooded. The next day we were moved into the family room, which was clean, relatively spacious considering the original room, with a nice view of the empty pool. (No ones fault). Most of the staff were extremely friendly, breakfast was very very basic and it was difficult to use the in house internet as only two computers. This hotel is close to shopping areas, good food, and tailors. It is an older hotel, a three star rating. We got what we paid for. My only words of wisdom would be don't rely on the nightstaff for a wake up call, it won't happen. I wouldn't not stay here again, but I would also shop around.
