Nice hotel close to all Hoi an away from the noise

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: The back deck and pool
Cons: The pool is in the shade and could use a little heating
Location: It is a short walk to the restaurants, markets and river. But due to the street not being a thoroughfare the traffic on the street is quite minimal
Staff are great, Food is delicious Rooms are kept very clean

Nice hotel, wish it was a little closer to town

Posted Mar 26, 2015
Cons: Better breakfast, offer a shuttle to the beach and free bikes, many of the other places offered both
Location: Nothing to do nearby, spas are there. We walked into town and we rented bicycles then rode into town, it's not too far
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Front desk speaks English quite well, the rest of the staff don't We had a very nice room facing the fields. Breakfast is the same everyday, not too much variety.

A lovely little hotel. Easy 10 min walk to heart of Old Town and River. Only stayed 1 night but would have happily stayed longer. Rear of hotel looks out over picturesque lagoon. Definitely book a room with a balcony at the back of hotel for view and silence Breakfast is on deck overlooking lagoon.

A tranquil stay

Posted Jan 22, 2015
Cons: Softer beds
We had such a lovely time at this little gem of a place. The moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and the staff had a great knowledge of the local area. Their service was genuine and very friendly. The rooms are so cute and romantic. The breakfast is a great selection with one of the most amazing views on a beautiful deck with a view of the rice paddies. Each morning we could watch the locals picking morning glory. The location was fantastic, close enough to everything but in a quieter end of town. A wonderful stay!

Nice hotel, great choice in Hoi An

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Cons: Hotel could provide free bikes
It is a small hotel, with all the advantages that comes with it (great staff, always available to help). Its waking distance from the city center, 600 meters, Its worth those 600m, just to avoid a overcrowded old town. Great breakfast Rooms are really clean and nice. Don't make a mistake, there are plenty of small hotels in Hoi An, but this is much better, really a boutique hotel prepared for international tourism.

Très bon séjour malgré la pluie battante...dans un quartier très proche du center ville mais néanmoins très calme (chambre côté jardin). Une équipe très à l'écoute et attentionnée surtout à l'accueil

Reception Officer is really kind. When we leaved, we could know how kind she was. Everything was okay and we were satisfied. Breakfast was a homely meal but good. Obstinately point out the flaw, hot water wasn't well wofking and there's no elevetor.

A great hotel with a genuine Vietnamese flavour

Posted Dec 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Have stayed at the Thien Than hotel two years running now and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else as the hotel is in a good location and the owner and staff go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable time. The rates are very reasonable and a good breakfast is provided on the large deck overlooking a typical Vietnamese rural setting. Recommend a room at the front with a large window or balcony. Alternatively a room at the back overlooking the rural setting is also good. The pool was crystal clear and everything clean and tidy.
