“Good value near Arizona's painted desert and petrified forest”

We chose this hotel for its proximity to Arizona's painted desert and petrified forest. Holbrook itself is not a particularly interesting town, but it is close to both attractions. The hotel was comfortable and cheap, the rooms clean and well appointed, with internet access, two double beds, a clothes washer/drier that worked, and a nice desk. Breakfast was included, and for the price, offered an adequate selection. There is an inside swimming pool (which we didn't use), and a few restaurants not too far.

“somewhat okay - have had better”

Hotel was not too bad. Continental Breakfast was very poor compared to others we have had. Access to rooms was hard for handicaps, but we did not request a handicap room. It was just hard to get up the steps to the rooms. Room was good

“Cheap and effective”

Not very new hotel. It has an indoor pool + SPA that we enjoyes despite bit cold weather. People friendly and breakfast OK. They define it "continental", but we couldn't find any scrambled egg nor sausages. Will come back here, it's worth for what you pay.

“The rooms were clean and didn't smell bad, which I really liked!”

It was a fine stay, just the the carpet on the stairs in the lobby area is stained and need to be replaced. The hot tub was a little green and not inviting, but the pool looked good. Breakfast was decent. I would go back. It is middle or average rating for accommodations.

“Not Impressed”

The customer service was not very good in this hotel and the place was pretty run down and had a bad odor.

“Difficult neighbors”

Check in did not go well as the receptionist was not clear as to what was happening because I had an expedia arranged reservation. Any time a room opens to the outside, it can be problematic. I was awakened at 2:40 AM by the incredibly loud noise emanating from my next door neighbors TV which remained at that level for the next hour.

“So So”

Overall the hotel was OK. We stayed there for 3 nights. The room we got was not clean when we arrived and was not cleaned properly after specifically requesting it in the morning. With two little kids that explore every corner that was a big No-No for us. We'll not stay there again! Plenty of other choices accross the street.
