Guy who checked us in was great;

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: The guy who checked us in.
Cons: Move the motel, buy new towels and sheets, and empty their septic.
First towel I grabbed looked like it had been used for checking the oil level in a car. All the towels were dirty. I believe they are next to a sewer treatment facility or they need to have there's replaced. Sheets had stains, didn't realize we were next to the E to W train line. We woke up at 2:30 am and thought we were in a Ca. earthquake. Won't stay there again.

I was pleasantly surprised.

Great bed new carpet. Clean. I had a problem with only having warm water and the front desk checked it herself.

Forget it!

No hot water for a shower. Room has a vomit smell covered by fragrance that didn't cover it up.

Great hotel on old 66!

Very nice lady at front desk. Room was clean and large. Mesa Italian restaurant in town was excellent. This hotel was a great kick off spot for our adventure into the Petrified Forest the next day.

We were ready to go at six, but breakfast was not open, so left without eating. Otherwise everything else was fine.

adequate Motel

Posted Nov 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed here because i wanted to SEE the WIG WAM motel but had no intention of staying there. First thing I noticed is that the name: Inn and Hotel seems misleading as this is a Motel in every sense of the word. Not a bad one though. Unfortunately the pool was closed...which seemed unnecessary to me as temperatures were in the 70's but It IS november so I cannot complain. Room keys hardly worked (all guests seemed to have this problem) And my reservation was lost when i got there. However everything worked out in the end. The breakfast is simple but DOES offer DIY waffles. The Safeways across the street (literally) is quite convenient and all in all if the price is right and I had to stay in the area I would stay there again.

Better than expected!

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Needed a last minute room on the way from California to Albuquerque, and this place had rooms available and was reasonably priced. Turned out to be way nicer than we expected! Very clean room, much bigger than the usual roadside hotel, big comfy bed, lots of clear cable TV channels. Better than some of the places we stayed in Cali and half the price! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't worry.

Close to local museum and eateries

A typical motel. Clean and tidy and comfortable too. Family run. Handy for local amenities. Holbrook lacks places to eat but is a short drive from popular dinning.
