“Great stay! Will definitely stay again when visiting the Salt Lake City area.”

This place was great! When we arrived at our assigned room & it was already occupied I was very worried that our stay was going to be horrible, but when we alerted the staff they sent a worker to us with a key to our new room & he helped carry our luggage & showed us to our new room. They handled things wonderfully. The breakfast buffet consisted of sausage, eggs (hard boiled & scrambled), yogurt & yogurt parfaits, cold cereal, fruit, make your own waffles (with toppings), muffins, bagels, toast, milk, & multiple kinds of juice. Some of the days there were also cooked potatoes of some soft & breakfast burritos. The breakfast was so good and so filling that we usually ended up skipping lunch. The staff was great. One of the breakfast area staff was particularly amazing. She was so kind to everyone & was constantly running to keep all of the food coming. We stayed over mother's day weekend & (against another reviewers views) it was awesome. They did hand out roses to all of the women (even some that weren't mothers) & there was no sign of any sort of discrimination against women who were not "white", as the other reviewer spoke of. There were women of all nationalities. They were all treated very kindly & each given a rose. The hotel was clean & we got a great price & were able to stay in a one bedroom suite w/ full kitchen. We stayed in on Sundy & were able to cook our own food for lunch & dinner on the stove. Hotel is nice, service is great, & close access to freeways.

“When I visit Salt Lake City again, this is where I'm staying again.”

The only thing we didn't get to try, was the pool and hot tub (being reovated during September). The breakfasts and dinner nights were very good, allowing us to get a proper meal to start the day. Better than we give ourselves to start the day off at home.

“Great hotel for families - great value”

Our family normally stays in full-service hotels (i.e. high rises downtown with doormen, room service, etc), but this was a refreshing change. The hotel was well-located off the I-215 Interstate with easy access to DT and other surrounding towns. Parking was easy and convenient, check in was easy and friendly, the complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a good variety from day to day. Our room was not large, but smartly laid out and stocked with all sorts of conveniences that we enjoyed: microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, bedroom with door, pull-out couch, 2 TVs. The only thing that stands out as a negative was in the evening, there was a drunk man at the pool screaming at his children... but I don't see how that's the hotel's fault. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again in the future.

“A 'Yes' vote!”

As usual, the Residence Inn was a nice stay. While I didn't have time to use the pool or other amenities, the breakfast was pretty good. The attention by the hotel staff in the dining area was as good as I've seen at any hotel, anywhere. They kept the tables clean, the dirty dishes cleared and the breakfast bar stocked. They even stop to see how you liked it and if they could refill your coffee or juice! A nice touch showing thoughtfulness towards their customers.

“Great Location”

This hotel is right across the street from a nice cluster of restaurants and is situated at the foot of a mountain. The ambiance was very nice.
