good value during non-ski seasonPosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Summer stays are great. The hotel is not packed with skiers and the rates are outstanding. Good for families.

Pets in all roomsPosted Jul 17, 2013
Pros: Thought the Marriott name would offer a better situation I will forever avoid Marriott
Cons: Have certain rooms for pets and others for just people without pets, simple Marriott
We were over taken with the smell of urine and ammonia when we asked if there were any rooms we could move to that were not previously occupied by pets they said there were not, so we left early.

Family groupPosted Jun 27, 2013
We had a family group with 4 rooms. Had a great time. Breakfast was good. Easy access from interstate 215. Pool and basketball court were great.

My experience with this Residence Inn, and most I have stayed at, is they provide lots of space. However, the decor and facilities are moderate accommodations at best. I have yet to be wowed by any Residence Inn I have stayed. Don't get me wrong, they are fine accommodations if you need a bed to crash and space to spread out in. A couple notes about this location. First, the staff was amazingly nice and accommodating. They are the reason I would consider coming back. My room was clean even though it was a bit dated. (The internet is crazy slow!) My one gripe would be the walls are exceptionally thin. I am not a light sleeper but could easily hear footsteps/chatter around me from adjacent rooms and the hallway.

Ski TripPosted Dec 18, 2012
Pros: Location, location, location
Location: Close to a lot
Stayed here for 4 nights during a ski trip. The hotel is very convenient to the Cottonwood Canyons. It is also very close to the 6200 S. Wasatch ski bus stop (in case weather is sketchy and/or you're driving a rental). There are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The breakfast is okay - I would say slightly better than average for hotels of this type. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen is a bit dated, but everything worked. There was a 46 inch or so television that was more than adequate. Overall, I enjoyed the stay.
