“Excellent hotel for families!”

We loved our stay at the Residence Inn in Holland! The room was very nice and gave our family a little room to spread out and they allow dogs!. The staff was exceptional! Very friendly and helpful. When my daughter made a comment about being gluten free, the very sweet lady at the front desk immediately pulled out a gluten free dining guide for the area. We also found the breakfast to be supurb! A nice mix of cold and very tasty hot items. Residence Inn does a nice job in mixing it up and having a variety of things. I would definitely stay here again.

“Great hotel”

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The rooms were very spacious and extremely clean. My only complaint was the room above us had their toddler running around and making lots of noise at 2:00 in the morning. Then it got nice and quiet only to have the kid up and making a ton of noise once again around 4:00am. We didn't get the as much sleep as we would have liked but the hotel itself was great.

“Very clean and comfortable hotel - highly recommended”

This is a very new (as of May 2006), clean, and comfortable hotel. The rooms are large, and the included breakfast is very good (includes eggs, waffles, sausage, etc. - not just a "continental" breakfast). I have stayed in a lot of hotels, and I was very pleased. My wife is usually very averse to traveling because she is worried about the cleanliness of hotels, but at the Residence Inn Holland she was very comfortable. If cleanliness and comfort are an issue, this hotel is worth the money. Also, the location is great - about a 10 minute drive from downtown Holland, but far enough away to be quiet.

“Great place to stay!”

We spent one night in Holland. Our room, one bedroom suite, was great. It was nice having a separate bedroom from the living area and a full size kitchen. The room was exceptionally clean. Great shower with good water pressure and separate sink/mirror area. The bed was comfortable - didn't wake up with the usual "hotel bed backache". It was nice not to hear doors opening and shutting all night down the hallway. It's off the beaten path in an office/industrial area so you'd have to drive to restaurants. The continental breakfast was overwhelming! Most places have coffee/juice/donuts/toast but this breakfast had - fresh waffles, French toast, eggs, sausage, all type of bread, bagels, croissants, dry cereal, granola, hot oatmeal with toppings, yogurt, 3 kinds of juice, regular coffee, flavored coffees, etc. Unfortunately we stayed on a Sunday night and didn't get to experience the cocktails and snacks at night. I'd definately stay again. The cleaniness and friendly staff make it well worth the price.

“Good Hotel for the value”

Never stayed in the Holland area but picked this hotel through Expedia. The hotel was very quiet and clean. Breakfast buffet was very good (having a nice variety of food items). Very good value for the money. Would stay there again if returning to Holland. Would recommend to friends.

We were very pleased with our stay over several days. The breakfast buffet and evening refreshments were quite substantial and very good. The suite was very comfortable. I would go back. Staff very friendly and helpful.

“All the comforts of home”

My family had wonderful stay here from July 2-4. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and courteous, from the front desk staff to the maintenance staff. The building and grounds were lovely and well maintained. Fresh baked cookies were supplied throughout the day at the front desk. Breakfast was a nice buffet with eggs, cereals, hot oatmeal, breads, muffins, donuts, biscuits and gravy, and condiments to go with all of them. There was a nice array of coffees and teas available 24/7. The "happy hour" could feed you for dinner. One night there was lasagna roll ups with bread sticks and salad! The pool was small but clean and a fresh supply of towels. There were a number of families using it while we were there. My 2 (ages 4 & 7) children loved it!! The room was comfortable and clean, although the couch/foldout bed could be more comfortable. The foldout bed sunk in the middle. There was even a small basketball/tennis court w/a basketball available to use, and a patio with umbrellas and a grill to cook out. So many small considerations added up to a lovely stay. Oh yeah - free internet in the main lounge area along with a flat screen tv, current newspapers and magazines, as well as things to do locally. The only thing I had trouble with was finding the place! It's tucked into a pastoral area of Holland and directions are confusing!! Overall, I'd highly recommend it to families and business folks. They've got everyone covered!

“Excellent!”

This was among our best overall hotel stays, ever. Congratulations to the management of this hotel: Your staff was obviously happy to work there and it showed in the condition of the rooms and pool area.
