Large slice of American luxury
Posted Jan 1, 2012
Pros: To many to mention, but must mention Margo
Cons: None
Location: Fantastic, on the beach with restaurants not even a stones throw away
This is truly a real find, from the moment you walk through the door, staff all very helpful nothing to much trouble. Quality of linen an kitchen ware first class. Beautiful and clean. Think of "Little Hampton" area style house. Beach wrap around view, large size dish washer, fridge/ freezer, great washing machine & tumble dryer,( nice to to put your sandy clothes off the beach through.) if your looking for a large slice of Amercan luxury it here. My son & girlfriend joined my husband and I on this stay, due to a certain situation we had the pleasure in extending our stay. We hired the 3 bedroom which was very large. Having 6"6 son and 6"2 husband you need it!! The white sandy beach ran on both ways for miles. The outside patio was lovely to sit and watch the world go buy. You are surrounded in lovely restaurants, something for all tastes, (check out holiday time table, Thanksgiving Ect) ..Margo (not sure of her title as she does so much) will tell you anything about the area you need to know.

can't wait to go back

our son is in an area medical school and we decided to turn a short visit into a week 's vacation. we were really looking for a place where we could all stay in one unit instead of being split into seperate hotel rooms. after the initial confusion upon check-in, the mainsail inn lived up to our every expection. the units were beyond beautiful, among the loveliest we've ever stayed in. we had a 2 bedroom unit w/2.5 baths, an eat-in gourmet kitchen, comfortable sitting room w/ flatscreen tv ( one in each bedroom as well ) and 2 large balconies to enjoy incredible gulf views. the inn is steps from a gorgeous beach and also has an intimate pool area complete with hot tub and a covered eating area with a very nice grill. grocery shopping was convenient and local restaurants were very good, i.e the sandbar for lunch and if your looking for a truly fine dining experience, the beach bistro is not to be missed and it's just next door.
