a small family owned motel in Lansing MichiganPosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: bed was clean
Cons: paint the walls, put in new floors and replace all the furnishings
Location: convenient suburb of Lansing for those going to games etc
the furnishings were from I would say about the 1950's. Really depressing but the bed was clean and the shower was hot. It was economical but I would rate it about a 1 star if that is the lowest rating. I would not stay there again and I dont now why Expedia has it as a listing. You should screen your choices. I stopped at another nearby place, The Best Western because I couldnt find it. They told me how to get there and then the clerk remarked: Good Luck. I think she had heard some remarks about the place

Pros: The cost.
More than a little bit gross inside the room. Stained matresses.

We would stay at this hotel again. A good size room. The kitchen is nice. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Overall, a good value for the money.

Cozy Mid-Michigan motel stayPosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was in alright condition, however, internet did not work (as advertised). Close to so much and more in greater Lansing area. Friendly manager/owner. We would recommend!

Fantastic for price.Posted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Perfect for just a place to crash for the night. In town for common ground music festival.. Cheap place to stay. Nothing fancy. Just what you need: a/c, comfy bed, mini fridge, and a shower. Perfect. Thanks!

Acceptable, provided you aren't picky.Posted Apr 27, 2013
Pros: Price, location, very quiet
Cons: Cleanliness, maintenance
The good: The sheets and towels were clean and there was no sign of bedbugs. The bed wasn't horribly uncomfortable and it was very nice to have a fridge. The manager/owner was very nice. Also, despite being at a fairly busy intersection, the room was virtually silent. I didn't hear another soul during my entire visit. Plenty of channels on the tv. The bad: The hotel is old and obviously not maintained very well. The overall cleanliness of the room wasn't fabulous. (Empty juice bottles sitting in the closet, food crumbs left on the table, room not swept well). Also, there were two extra strange (locked) doors in the room. I'm guessing they must go into adjoining rooms but both were locked from the OTHER side. That was a bit creepy. Still, it could have been a lot worse, considering the price. I would be willing to stay there again.
