“Nice Place”

Very nice hotel in beautiful, secluded location. Close to many cute towns. Hiking trails nearby. Chicken pot pie at the adjacent restaurant The Mick was enormous.

“A Clean Well-lighted Place”

I stayed two nights in mid-April of 2012. The restaurant next to the hotel was excellent. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. If one doesn’t choose to eat in the hotel restaurant, there is room service, or one can go to the towns of East Hampton, or Northampton about 10 minutes drive away. There are dinosaur footprints about 10 minutes from the hotel! I didn’t get to use or see the pool so can’t comment on that. I checked out the small but adequate work-out room, and it would be fine for most needs, plus it was clean. The staff were very nice. There were cookies upon check-in, and nutri-grain bars to grab-n-go in the morning if you didn’t have time for the hot breakfast. All together, I had a nice stay and would certainly stay there again, and plan to next time I am in that area. Also, there are dark curtains in the room to cover the window, a definite plus.

“Well Appointed Rooms”

The hotel desk staff were unable to find our prepaid resevation at first. This was remedied quickly. Take note that there is an extra local tax that is not paid for in advance. The restaurant next door has a night club with live music. This receives an overflow crowd on a Friday night. You have to attend early. The pool is well heated . It was nice to go for a swim .

“Very Nice”

This was a very nice hotel. It was clean, the service was good and the breakfast was excellent. I stayed there with my family and everyone was very satisfied. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely go back.

“Delightful”

We had an excellant experience at this hotel. We were upgraded to a suite to our surprise and comfort. Delightful !

“Comfortable”

We paid for the suite and got a very comfortable and spacious room. Traffic noise from I91 noticeable but not too bad. Attractive lobby. No complaints.

“Comfortable and clean”

The rugs are showing wear; the coffee maker in my room didn't work (flooded, actually); and compared to a few years ago, the fresh cookie rack at the reception desk is no longer kept stocked overnight... Though you can see it from I-91, it's located 2 miles from the closest exit, just off Route 5--and if one is returning at night, the signage for the golf course or restaurant next door is the only indicator for the road/driveway to access the hotel. That said, this was the only hotel with non-smoking accommodations--all the other area hotels closer to the venue I was attending were booked solid or had only smoking rooms available (not an option for me).

“Very nice.”

Employees were courteous and helpful. Room was nice, though the fireplace didn't work. I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity presented itself.

“Nice for the price”

We would have liked to have been able to use the indoor swimming pool , which was not working { pump there , but not installed } The complimentary breakfast was very good . A staff was present to assist guests. We enjoyed the free coffee and cookies at front desk. It was nice to have a restaurant next door for dinner and drinks. Would have liked better quality pillows on the beds. I would recommend staying here . It was convenient to Northampton for Paradise Craft show.

“perfectly adequate”

It was fine
