Close to MTR station and convenient location

Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff attitude and room size
Location: Time Square, Tram tours and local Dessert shops
Disappointing as a Best western property. I was expecting a decent sized room. The toilet specially.. So small that you can hardly move yourself. Bed was far from being comfortable, but I must say that the room was properly cleaned. Staff was not helpful but they not rude either. I won't say that it was my hotel of choice.

the bad one ever

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: nothing. the roof swimming bath is a joke.
Cons: A free compensation of 4 nights. No transport requiered. I pay myself.
Location: times square good shopping. good food in restaurant holiday inn. lot to do at HK island
Report stay BW Causeway Bay, HK 1) ask for NON smoking room. But in the chamber 3208 is clearly smoked. There is even an ashtray. 2) Although requested and confirmed by email refused to write because I had booked. Using my points with agent I can find this rule anywhere. 3) Bathroom: a) bath of 1 meter long and 60 cm high, this may be an older non income and not showering. Also, there are no auxiliary rods present. b) the shower ends approx 1.70 high, while there is more room, I'm only 1.75 but so can not in the shower. c) There was no shaving present but every day a new comb, toothbrush, (etc.). I do not understand this. d) mirror in bathroom with light behind the person in front of the mirror, because ...... e) shower curtain is too wide for this size tub and therefore bother. 4) Hall; a) a very small fridge that barely fits a bottle of water. Well filled with 3 (pay) cans and marsnootjes.b) An open box with note with two hangers. 5) Daily 2 small bottles of water, in this climate, for 2 people. Why not put in refrigerator ?. 6) refrigerator that is switched off when leaving rooms, same air. 7) bedroom / living room: a) 1 adapter for 2 persons, in present era too little. b) gordijen and curtains that barely open or close. c) windows do not open, logical, but air only through air? d) no closet present or very small safe. e) writing consists of folding shelf. 8) to my question next visit if there are larger rooms (for approx 9 m2) was answered in the negative.

Hotel is accessible to shops and transportation.

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Near the MRT, bus stops and taxi stands, mall, restaurants etc.
Cons: More amenities, choices of menus in the 6/F Restaurant, business address should be simplified, (Bowrington Rd./Cheung Woo Lane, Canal Rd. W.
Location: convenient location, entrance of the hotel be easily accessed by taxi or by coach bus, many trendy shops and walking distance to Times Square.
Hotel staffs are friendly and accommodating. Helpful with directions and hotspots.

Terrific location, very small rooms

Posted Jun 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location is the only major benefit of this hotel. It is a 3-5 minute walk to Times Square in Causeway Bay. The room is very small and is most suitable for a single traveler. The hotel provides a small fridge, which can hold only 2 cans of soda. The safe provided is too small to store a 15" laptop. Lastly, there is no closet space. If you need a small place to stay that's near Causeway Bay, this is the hotel for you. It gets the job done. If you want a hotel room with ample size for your luggage and soft drinks, then I recommend you look elsewhere.

Dirty rooms, greasy shower booth, no conditioning

For the price I paid I would expect a clean room at least. They should have clean the rooms and bathrooms at least once a month. Disgusting place.

Efficient staff. Clean beds. Tiny room with no space for case or hanging space for clothes. Tiny shower. Good location near Times Square one side and wet market on the other (if you want to see local Hong Kong) Busy atmospheric area.

Good location on HK Island

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: It's location. The staff were friendly.
Cons: The entrance a bit confusing and not particularly welcoming due it being on ground level and reception at a higher level. Lighten the common areas.
Location: As above.
As a first time visitor to HK, I found the location on the Island very good. Getting from the airport to the hotel via the Hotel Shuttle Bus was easy. The hotel itself provided the basic necessities for my needs, nothing fancy. The room was clean and tidy. The locality good for both areas, Causeway/Wanchai and Harbour easily walkable, making it easy to take the Star Ferry to Kowloon. Plenty of shopping possibilities in the Malls and an easy trip by bus to Stanley Market.
