Hubby and I spent a week here and absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. The things we liked the most were 1) the free use of a smartphone which made it easy to contact family back in Sydney plus easy to find restaurants, shops etc. whilst on foot in HK 2) free use of minibar - bottles of water, juice poppers, beers, and snacks as well as various teas/coffee 3) beautifully designed bathroom which included a rain shower 4) fantastic view from our room which was a "Harbour View" room 5) outstanding gym which had a view across Victoria Harbour 6) the very helpful and courteous concierge and staff in general and 7) the regular and very punctual shuttle bus. We would certainly like to come back to HK and would once again stay at Hotel Icon.

Very nice and clean hotel with complimentary breakfast, plenty of choices ----- fresh fruit, cereal, bread,tea/coffee plus cooked breakfast. The staff are very helpful and courteous . The hotel is near the MTR, tram and buses, all within five to ten minutes walk. It is very easy to get to Central,
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay. The restaurants are much cheaper than other areas of Hong Kong.
We had two complimentary tickets on the Peak tram while we were there.

Greeted by outstanding staff member. We thought it looked not good from the outside but when arrived in 22b we were amazed by the apartment . Really liked the view from the bedroom. Kitchen facilities were adequate. The rooftop has a great view but could be made more of a feature. We would definitely stay there again.

We were having trouble finding a hotel that would accommodate 3 adults and 1 child for 1 night. In hong kong, the hotels are super expensive with no decent bed sizes. Before booking with Expedia, we called the hotel to confirm the description that was on the site. For example, on the site it said "1 double bed, 2 twins beds". It is misleading on the site. When I called the hotel to ask for clarification, they said that they do not have twin beds and that it should be single beds instead. Also, once you try to book it on Expedia, it only gives you the option of either "1 double bed" or "2 twin beds". To sum this up, the description should really be, "1 double bed OR 2 single beds". I would give Expedia some fault on this because if I chose to not call the hotel, I would have booked the wrong thing. So what ended up happening is that I ended up booking a king size bedroom and called the hotel back to ask if I could add a 3rd bed. The man said it was fine at an extra cost. When I had arrived at the hotel, the manager there had understood my accommodation needs (2 adults and 1 child) and upgraded me to a suite. This was really nice of her to do this and I appreciate the great hospitality. Because of this, I ended up not needing to pay for the extra bed. I paid a standard room on Expedia but had a wonderful suite that had 2 bathrooms, 3 marble sinks, 1 shower a living room area that had a couch and was separate from the king size bedroom.

The hotel is located at the neighborhood area, lovely to experience the local culture and just about 10 minutes walking distance to Sham Shui Po MRT station. While walking to the MRT station, it’s a good experience to pass by the day and night market.
The Family Suite features with 2 bedrooms with Queen size beds and 3rd bedroom with a single bed, the bedrooms area connected with living room, pantry and sharing a bathroom. It’s ideal for family and comfortable although the room is just 68sqm/700sqft.
My family enjoy the most is the pleasant surprise of complimentary mini bar and welcome goodie bag with snacks. In addition, there is also simple evening cocktail reception with alcoholic drinks from 6pm to 8pm daily and it’s a great place to rest and relax after a long day out.
A great place to stay.

This is a gem, with great value for money. Room design is modern, very original, and high-end. Staff is extremely professional and friendly. Service is beyond what you'd normally expect in the overheated Hong Kong hotel business: upon check-in we found a goodie bag in the room, free drinks in the in-room refrigerator, and in addition there's daily complementary drinks and snacks in the lobby bar.
Breakfast is on the second floor of the downstairs Ovolo Cafe (directly accessible from the hotel). As such, assortment is great.
We loved this as a home base for our errands/exploration in Hong Kong and will certainly be back.
