Great location, but not so great roomPosted Dec 5, 2013
The location was great however the room was not so great. The towels were thread bare, the room was small and a little dingy. The drapes were a brown color. the toilet dud not flush properly. I felt deceived by the pictures and the actual room. I would rate this hotel only two stars. the only thing good about this hotel is the location.

Cramped, but good location.Posted Oct 20, 2013
Room was clean and well kept. Like a lot of hotels in HK the room size was tiny, but for 1-2 ppl, who just need a place to sleep, it's fine.

Location was our priority. Wanted to stay in Citadines because I know it's very near the shopping areas I wanted to go to. The fact that Ashley St. now houses several food outlets is a bonus. You need not go far for delicious food!

Definitely not what I expected.Posted Jul 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
The picture shows a large and spacious studio with a comfortable layout and nice style, what I found was quite different. My room wasn’t much bigger than the bed and felt tight even for a one night stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but I don’t think I would like to stay there again.

IT HAS NEVER BEEN WORSE.... TRY OUT AND REGRET ITPosted Jun 14, 2013
Pros: Service of the reception staff
Cons: Old, dated, smelly....tiny, slow moving lift...
Location: Location is pretty good.
It was a nightmare staying at Citadines Ashley HK....and we regretted for not paying more for a pricey accommodation. We had a very pleasant experience at Citadines MELBOURNE and hence thought that the apartment in Hong Kong will somewhat be similar to what we have had previously. Much to our disappointment, the apartment is no way in comparison. It is old, dated, miserably small and its WC is stained and dirty. For those who'd like to experience how it is like staying in a pigeon hole, this may well be the place for you....Hmm...Now, we know why there are only 2 pictures being posted on its website. However, the service staffs are warm, helpful and offered superb customer service. Thumbs up for the reception crew :)

Citadines AshleyPosted Jun 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Only one working elevator.. Left me using the stairs on occasion which were a mess w/o air conditioning. The door of my room was difficult to close (loose on it's hinges). And the TV remote had dead batteries. Great Tsim Tsa Tsui location though.

Just about acceptablePosted May 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
To be honest, I wouldn't return. I've stayed at the Citadines in Thailand and likes it. This one is a lower standard. Like everything in HK, it's cramped. Also, it needs a lick of paint. I usually stay at the Novotel in HK (Wanchai or Nathan Rd). Either of these are better. The lobby is tiny, and there's no atmosphere at all. The area is very cool though, and the little Turkish place next door is awesome.

Good location but not fully furbished apartmentPosted May 29, 2013
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Quality of the accommodation
Location: Kowloon Harbour in Tsim Sha Tsui
I've stayed at Citadens hotel apartments in Melbourne and the quality of the accommodation in HK is not of the same standard. The room was clean but small, with only a kitchenette (no laundry facilities) and slightly dated. The location was excellent right in the action of things near Kowloon Harbour in Tsim Sha Tsui and the price is reasonable.
