Excellent Service!Posted Sep 10, 2014
Cons: More shuttle busses frequency
Location: Times Square, shopping, good local food!
Makes me feel very homely, service was top notch and they add very special touches to there services with small surprises here and there. All the staffs were helpful and even though the hotel is a little inconvenient, they provide shuttle busses to the nearest train station (causeway bay). Thumbs up! Would love to go back next time when i visit HK.

Pleasent hotel at good locationPosted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: smart handy phone nice view comfortable/soft bed helpful staff shuttle bus
Cons: shuttle bus timing to extend to a bit later, as the last bus seems is around before 9pm sufficient & consistent on the amenities provided
Location: - shopping malls (foods, books) - MRT station
Hotel is under renovation, so there may be a bit noisy. However, the front desk had informed us in advance and since we are going out during daytime, so it was fine. We take the quad bedroom (12th floor) and stay there for 3 nights, the room seems had just been renovated, it looks new and clean. The bed, pillow, duvet is soft and very comfortable. The room design is soft. Nice view from the room. Since we are in room for 4, expected the room facilities/amenities provided should be in 4 sets (towel, shower gel, toothbrush etc). However we are given only 2 sets for the first 2 days. We had informed the front desk on the 2nd day, therefore they gave us 4 towels, but still 2 sets for other amenities. Perhaps due to change of housekeeping staff on duty, on the 3rd day they gave us all amenities in 4 sets. We bumped into the world no. 1 squash champion at the lobby, which is really cool! The smart handy phone is good and very convenient, we bring it out from the hotel to use as GPS purpose, it allowed free call to local and certain countries as well. Since the hotel wifi is not strong when in the room, we also use the handy phone as hotspot. The shuttle bus is on time and the staff will inform everyone to queue which is good. The hotel worth the price we paid for..will definitely come back again!

Great LocationPosted Sep 4, 2014
Cons: Definately could improve on breakfast.
Location: Close to where we needed to be and to the shopping centre.
Arriving in Hong Kong to the Cosmopolitan was a great experience. I arrived early and my room wasn't ready but was close enough to go to the local shopping centre which was amazing. The breakfast was very average....wouldn't recommend it at all. Very clean and friendly staff....very busy with people coming and going. The hotel is certainly no 5 star resort or hotel but for the money and what we wanted it was perfect. A clean room and excellent bed that was so comfortable. Value for money was above average. I would stay there again.

A quick nights stayPosted Sep 2, 2014
Was a nice room though it was a little loud from nearby traffic most of the night. Quietest times were from 4am to 7am.

Excellent customer service.Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Great customer service. Honest, efficient, friendly service. Room was clean and the cleaning staff went out of their way to anticipate our every need
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
Location: It is a 5 to 10 minute easy walk to the Causeway Bay MTR (subway/metro station) located in the heart of Times Square. Restaurants, markets, shopping.
Truly excellent customer service from every area of the hotel. They are staffed over and above expectations. Never had to wait to speak with front desk, bellboys, doormen, security, managers, tour booking person, guest service-truly amazing. They also provide numerous shuttle buses, complimentary to use, to bring you to various MTR (subway) stations, convention center, etc.. (That said, the closest MTR station is an easy 5 to 10 minute easy walk away.) They run this hotel efficiently and are very, very well organized and polite. They also provided a complimentary cell phone with unlimited calls, internet access, and free long distance (to USA and Canada). Unexpected and very appreciated.

Horribly NoisyPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Some of the employees are nice.
Cons: The noise, yeah - the deafening noise
Location: It's near some cheap eateries and some department stores.
My wife and myself stayed at this hotel, Cosmopolitan Hotel for 4 days. During the days from 10 am to 6 pm, the noise begins: drilling, loud noises of ripping, poking. Our first day was horrible. We want to rest from a long trip but sleep is too elusive because of unending noise. We complained from the management but they offered us 2 solutions: to move to another room with additional charge because it's more "classy" and farther away from the source of drilling area or go out from the hotel from 10 am and come back after 6 pm when the maintenance crew are out of work.

Nice hotel but a little isolatedPosted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: I was upgraded, and the room was nice
Cons: Breakfast buffet would have been expensive without the discount they gave me
Location: Hotel is a bit isolated. No restaurants nearby hotel. Hotel has one.
Cosmopolitan Hotel is fine. The gym could use a stationary bike, but it did have running machines, stair stepper and some weights.. One problem is that the hotel is isolated. To get to a restaurant outside the hotel, you must walk around 10 minutes.

Close to MTR station and Times Square.Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Location for us, mixed in and out of Close to Times Square and MTR station Great value for family of 4
Cons: Just noise control during the day due to re construction going on
Location: Times Square within walking distance. Everything reachable either walk, MTR or bus routes. Yet out of the noise of city centre
Hotel staff are very friendly and always on hand to help whatever or whenever. Hotel currently under re construction of some floors and noise made it difficult if staying in during the day. Had a very nice room which had just been renovated. Ideal for family of 4-two teenagers in same room. Reasonably priced because of this too. Breakfast was costly, but useful, for early morning starts on city tours etc. Location was good that you could walk to Times Square during day or night, and MTR underground station there too. Bus routes also ideal and staff directed you easily to these too. Seems out of the way on a map. But very useful not to be too in the centre for fear of noise, pollution etc. Rate it very highly for comfort of rooms. Tight squeeze at times with two teenagers-but great value for money on cost savings.
