Excellent hotel in a convenient locationTPosted Dec 15, 2014
Tasty breakfast buffet, knowledgeable employees who fix any problems or answer any questions about the room and hotel services such as when and where their shuttle buses go. They provide a free 3G phone which can be set to be a WiFi Hotspot for our own phones and laptop. And we carried it in our pockets to have WiFi access anywhere in Hong Kong. A slight drawback is there are few reasonably priced restaurants nearby other than the pricey hotel restaurants. You will need to walk a ways or take a shuttle bus or cab.

Not bad....Posted Dec 14, 2014
Pros: Some of the Staff were great while others were not so great
Stayed for a week and the hotel was OK but nothing special. Would not stay again when in Hong Kong but for the price you could surely do a lot worse.

Good hotel close to all forms of transportationPosted Dec 11, 2014
Pros: The view from the room and the provision of a smartphone for guest's personal use, free of charge.
The hotel was nice and the provision of a smartphone for guest personal use (free of charge) was very convenient. However the hotel reception was always busy and hence it was not easy to receive any attention from the staff. Additionally although the room was very nice with lovely views of the HK skyline, we had an adjoining door in our room, which allowed the noise from our neighbours through to our room. We were unfortunate to have very noisy neighbours who enjoyed loud conversations at all hours of the night, hence making it hard to sleep most of the time. But the hotel was very conveniently located, just 10 mins walk from Causeway Bay MTR and a few mins walk from the Happy Valley tram stop.

銅鑼湾（コーズウェイベイ）から少し歩くけど、良いホテルPosted Dec 11, 2014

Good central locationPosted Dec 11, 2014
Pros: The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful.
Cons: Room sizes - however, this possibility depends on the type of room the customer gets.
Location: Great food and good transport to take us to where we needed to go.
I was in Hong Kong for a holiday and this hotel was in a good location. Price was very good. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Average hotel in reasonable locationPosted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: Location. Attentive staff.
Cons: It is vital that the differences between rooms are understood. Frosted windows are absolutely unnaceptable for many hotel guests. Tired decor.
Location: Wanchai and Causeway Bay both walkable in around 10 mins. Happy Valley Racecourse is immediately opposite.
All was looking good when I was given an upgrade upon arrival. The room was small but nicely decorated. However it turned out to have frosted glass windows (it was overlooking a cemetery). Like many people I could not stay in a room with no outside view so was then offered a chargeable upgrade to a room on the opposite side of the hotel which I really had no choice but to accept. The staff were friendly and attentive and dealt with the room change efficiently albeit insisted on charging for the change. The new room had a good view over Happy Valley racecourse. It was however one of the older rooms and rather tired. The shower blocked and overflowed but the staff fixed this quickly and I had no problems thereafter. The location is OK in that it is walkable to both Wanchai and Causeway Bay but not good if you dont like a 10 minute walk. It also overlooks a major road so traffic noise may be a problem for light sleepers.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments. We regret to know that your reserved room didn’t quite meet your expectation and I hope the time-limited room upgrade offer had given you a pleasant stay with a more spacious room and the signature racecourse view. We would also recommend you to try our newly renovated Grand Deluxe Room next time for a refreshing design layout and décor at just a little extra cost. We also trust the traffic noise you encountered was just an occasional issue, we will definitely look into the current sound-proof facilities for further improvement. Thank you.
